The memory consumption of the I0C wallet has reached 1.2GB on my system. The memory needs for these wallets needs to be fixed. Anyone working on it? Don't expect the BTC community to fix it anytime soon, their wallet is less than 400GB at the moment.

I'm not aware of anyone working on it for any of the alt chains. AFAIK the I0C wallet remains smaller than 400 GB, and does not need to be fixed yet. Due to the lower volume of transactions, I expect the size to remain manageable for many years yet. |

My pool is using the one on http://i0coin.bitparking.com/. I've been unable to get the kR105 one to work consistently. It slowly disconnects all the peers over time. I assume this has something to do with the DoS code - it doesn't seem to like existing peers. I had the same problem trying to port i0coin to a recent bitcoin as well so I don't think it's a bug with the kR105 code specifically. |

I had the same problem trying to port i0coin to a recent bitcoin as well so I don't think it's a bug with the kR105 code specifically. I've had the same problem with disconnects using i0coin v32509. I'm guessing the problem could be that i0coin has only a few nodes at this time and doesn't have a list of seed nodes or a fallback node list. Try using -addnode or -connect. Longer term we need a list of reliable nodes stored in the client ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Fallback_Nodes). |

Is anyone even taking responsibility for the software at this time? If so, they probably need to come in dust off the edges around this system or it's likely it will see the same fate as GG, TBX and FBX.... :-(
I recommended this for the DVC people too but perhaps this could be a saving grace here as well, which is to implement a ledger based system to enable efficient block chain pruning etc. all while preserving the system's merge mine and current feature set.

I've got a boatload from where I was merged mining on bitparking, I suppose I'll swap 'em up and out.
Is i0coin dead? I stared merged mining on my p2pool node ad get a few of them, but seems like it is impossible to exchange i0coin to BTC anywhere. |

There is always over the counter, too.
How many I0coin would you offer for an Ixcoin, or vice versa? Or for a Terracoin? How about some GRouPcoin? DeVCoin, maybe? You can exchange Ixcoin and DeVCoin to bitcoin at Vircurex still...
