The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Nice, you have 5 times hashrate but made off with 25 times number of coins. I guess low latency matters a lot.

Are you going solo now?

also it is important to have that high hashrate all working combined so you have the solution often faster than everyone else. if you also have a fast connection you get all the goods....

Should be but it isn't.  There are some high powered players in it right now and combined with i0 guild, it's almost impossible.  The chain underwent multiple separations since the start but now has settled what appears to be i0 guild chain version.  I lost a few thousand i0coins in the process, so to speak.

I'm still solo mining but I haven't hit any new valid blocks.  Ironically, my one and only block is from i0 guild in which my share is the entire block.  But I can't connect to them anymore so.

In other words, this is "normal" for solo mining?

wow, I see... So this right now sounds like a complete waste of time. At least it's something better than rip-off ixCoin

It appears that there will be a few players in i0coin with a ton of coins. Not sure if that is how we define "decentralized".

Will manually adding nodes help reduce orphans? I have 8 connections, but even after adding addnode=69.42.216.172 (the ip that i0guild resolves to) and restarting, I still only have 8 connections. Is there some other nodes I can add?
