Received my unit 2 days ago and had it running in no time. Now after 2 days full load mining i have to admit that it runs really smooth and don't get really hot (although it sometimes makes the noise of a plane leaving). Gonna mod it maybe with a more quit cooler but i must admit i didn't expect this quality!! Really good Sushi! Thanks.

PS. anyone know how to do a mod so i can change pools by accessing the cgminer API?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

My antminer arrived yesterday, was stuck for one day at customs. Had to pay about 40 euros. It has been mining for about a day now, works fine and it makes less noise than the bfl jalapeno next to it  Wink

My miner arrived today, was shipped 2 days ago and its allready here. 2 Days from china to germany ... amazing.

I have allready set it up, but i have the feeling my hw are a bit to high? Do i read this wrong or does it mean i have 25% hardware errors? (ACCEPTED 1099 vs 195 HW Errors)

thanks to sushi for the perfect handeling so far .. i can only recommend this guy!

What version is your firmware?  They released a new version earlier this month.  I updated to that and it seemed to do the trick. also, if you OC to 400Mhz, you will have HW error, that's normal.

Thanks guys ... i thought it would be the same as in cgminer, HW = Hardware Errors and Accepted = Accepted Shares ..

I have not overclocked and my Firmware is OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r38031 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9909)

thanks Smiley

I just got mine!  However, there was a bad wire (looks like it broke off the connector).

I hope they can just send me a replacement wire harness.

http://dec.imghost.us/rWmp.jpg

I'm definately not going to power it up or anything in case it damages the unit.  Please help, sushi!  Can't hash without it, lol.

Got mine since Dec 13 and I still haven't been able to use it properly due to the broken ribbon cable.  Radio Shack does not any anything that would work.  The temp fix is too temp... Wire would not make contact after a short while.

Lost a good window of luck at BTCGuild. Sad
Can't you remove the pin from the plug and recrimp/solder the wire back to the pin?  The pin has a little tab that sticks out from the pin to catch on the connector to keep the pin in the connector.  You need something with an inside diameter just a little larger than the pin to compress the tab and push the pin out.  You may be able to bend the tab with a paperclip also.  I am not at home atm, otherwise I would take some pics for you.  For some examples using a molex connector, try searching google for "molex pin extractor".  Most connectors are the same as these.  I will check my antminer when I get home later to see.

Your calculation is wrong it should be HW/(HW + DiffA + DiffR) or total shares with a hardware error divided by the total shares the unit has produced.

If I have been help then please show your thanks         BTC: 127PRogAVZiV3fEmpJERh9KemK3a3Ffh6G         LTC: LXghFL8mZffpTFkm2nRTesuDrV5DJQP3Js

Here is a formula that giletto posted here to figure hardware error percentage.

HW/(HW+DiffA+DiffR)%

LOL.  The poster above me beat me to posting.  I was looking for the reference link.

Received 3 of my ants on Wednesday, and the 4th yesterday (UPS had misplaced it).  All running fine.  Great execution.  I wish all vendors operated like this.

So who won the giveaway?

I still haven't really mined with my Antminer since I got it on Dec 13 (page 16).  I tested it but only got 130 GH due to the broken cable.  My temp fix didn't work, and Radio Shack didn't have a replacement available.  I stopped mining because I didn't want to void the warranty.  Who knows if it would break other stuff without a proper cable.  No word from Sushi on whether a replacement was sent. Sad

Please help, sushi!

Also any compensation for lost mining time?  Difficulty is due to rise in 3 hours, and I also missed a good chunk of luck during the weeks I couldn't use the Antminer. Sad

Delivery was fast, I give you that, but I'm just sitting on a 4.25 BTC miner that's not mining for 7 days and counting.

PM also sent: just don't know what's the best way to get a response right now. Sad

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

I think your best option is to go to some electronics repair shop (one of those very obscure and dirty ones), and pay them 5$ to do it.
