Bill Gates, Buffett, etc., if they want to save their wealth in this round of wealth redistribution, they have to buy bitcoin, but in their view, investing in BTC and cryptocurrency does not meet their value perspective. So they can only oppose cryptocurrencies to influence the price of BTC!

It is completely natural that bill gates' bitcoin denying. Because, he is a money god in currency world but not in cryptocurrency world. This situation makes bill gates be scared of cryptocurrencies.
Bill Gates is a very popular and powerful man so his insights against bitcoin can create a major problem. We all know that Bill Gates is an influencer so if he is against bitcoin then it can make a serious trouble. Once he said that he is not approved of bitcoin then he can influence others not to like it since they are following him.

Bill Gates was a conservative when he thought Bitcoin was dangerous to the human world. It is not surprising that Bill Gates opposed Bitcoin. In the world, there are many billionaires who have countered Bitcoin, but now they are investing in it  Grin

Bitcoin is just another technology, it is not to blame for anything. It is interesting to hear the genius of electronic money and bitcoin. Of course I understand and know that bitcoin is very dependent on news, but I do not think it will be a failure for bitcoin.

American businessman Bill Gates again spoke out against the first crypto currency: in the Squawk Box program on CNBC, the co-founder of Microsoft called bitcoin one of the most speculative things in the world. This slightly tilted the course of the coin on Monday, May 7, but today it is still in the green zone.

"I would oppose bitcoin if there was an easy way to do this," said Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft Corporation in CNBC's Squawk Box, on Monday, May 7.

"As an asset class, you do not produce anything, and so you should not expect it to rise, it's a kind of pure investment" stupid theory, "Gates said in the CNBC program" Squawk Box. "

"Bitcoin and ICO, I believe, I believe, these are some of the crazy, speculative things," Gates said. He added that someone once gave him bitcoins for his birthday, but he sold it in a few years.

According to Gates, there is no need to count on the growth of bitcoin's value: "from the point of view of the asset class, you do not produce anything." The largest shareholder of Microsoft considers investing in this cryptonet "the theory of a bigger fool in its pure form."

She claims that money can be made by acquiring securities without regard for their quality and selling them at a profit, because there will always be a "bigger fool." Proceeding from the theory, speculative bubbles grow in this way, which burst with time and bring down the value of shares in a mass sale.

Note that earlier Gates accused the BTC of the death of people, pointing out that the coin is often used to buy drugs. In November 2014, the businessman called bitcoin "a revolutionary technology and the most innovative solution in the modern Internet payment market."

Like many critics of crypto currency, Gates acknowledged that the basic technology of blockchain has its advantages. Blocking eliminates the need for a third-party intermediary, such as a bank, to quickly create a secure, permanent report on the transaction between the two parties. Bitcoin is the first application of blocking technology, and companies are exploring ways to use technology to manage supply chains, trade and other areas.

Bill Gates criticism and other billionaires criticism are almost the same. They all think that Bitcoin users are all crazy.

He has been positive about bitcoin, then negative, then positive again, now he is negative again. What's this guy's deal?
I mean he can't be in it for the money, so why fud?
Bill Gates is the richest person in this world. Apparently, he has also the power to control the mind of his supporters. His opinion is changing time by time and I think it is not reliable information since his ideology crosses each time he want to speak about bitcoin. I believe that what he says is just a FUD news for the people to confuse about what is BTC.

BG has been pretty inconsistent about his thoughts on bitcoin, so I don't understand whether it is so important to discuss an opinion of a person who doesn't seem to have a clue about it.
What IS important is that his sayings might potentially affect the price of btc. Wink

My opinion Bill Gates not the only economist in the world and his success and computer technologies doesn't mean that he knows better than everybody in cryptocurrency, so we also are having our guys, who would tell the positive things.

Meanwhile from a video posted on YouTube, he said  "nobody can stop Bitcoin" or something llike that. Here is the video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XG9qnSYyXDk

It either the video was faked, the article is a lie, Billgate said either of the two or he said both.

He made a similar remark about Opensourced software like Linux many years ago.

Well, the most important thing is to get both archived for posterity sake.

I think he really patronize bitcoin it is just his way to manipulate the market? As he was saying that cryptocurrency is the most speculative market in the world that is why even him is doubtful what will happen to the future of crypto.

This guy often changes his mind, All business people change their minds depending on the conjuncture, as well as politics. With all due respect to this man, I can say one thing - he expected that after his words the market would collapse and he would buy Bitcoin at a lower price. As they say, his stupid words are the same stupid answer. Trying to manipulate the market.
