 To me it makes no sense to get into the bitcoin game to turn around and sell when its going up and every time i look i made $100. Everybody knows that if we keep buying the value goes up,we sell it drops....STOP selling!!!! i wanna be rich,if you dont wanna be rich then please go play somewhere cause its starting to irritate me that some simple minded people keep selling off my riches...To anybody that feels the need to respond to this post and say anything other then common sense,please refrain from doing so...JUST BUY,LETS GET RICH!!!!

If it did, this would be a bubble and they never turn out well.

If you only hold bitcoins so you can get rich, I suggest you sell them right now.
There is no sense in investing in something you don't think is useful simply because you think other people will buy it so they can get rich.

That's where you're wrong, bruv. If the volatility is stressing you out then leave. Just like in stocks and other assets, there's going to be traders that's going to make money off the lesser-experienced traders and investors, and there's nothing you can do about that. If you're just going to force people to buy and not sell, then you might just aswell join a pump and dump scheme instead.

Getting the coin at low price is the most sensible. Prices are low these times, it is a good time to invest.

i have money,im good..but it pains me to see people not working togther as a team to reach the level we all want to reach...i think the greed kicks in when you know it can reach higher levels for everybody but instead you think of self and sell so others lose....Try this, for 1 solid week,just buy and dont sell at all and watch your money grow like never before,and that is why we are investing in the first place...if everybody did this we would not be having this convo,and you know this....

If the people start to hold as like you,the price of bitcoin will reach a stable value.And it will reach any peak in a couple of weeks.Due to the new investor,the price of bitcoin is badly affect.They will sell their bitcoin by seeing the minor fluctuation.If they avoid panic selling,the price will not fluctuate often.

I think that you should first study about basic principles behind any market.
Price depend on supply and demand only.
People will buy if they believe that price will go up.
People will sell if they believe that price will go down.
It's simple like that.

i know how all this works,buy low-sell high but time and time again it has shown me to not sell and let the damn thing do what it can do,we dont know where it can go or what it can become cause the greedy people keep stopping the progress with thier paranoia...

funny thing is the posts i recieved so far talk about my greed and me being paranoid but its just the opposite,people who sell take money from others,bottom line...ive watched my money go from a nice pile to chump change back to a nice pile and back down again...so dont put this on me,im willing to wait it out but the people thinking of self has started to concern me...

For you to get rich you need to eventually sell - keep that in mind for a moment.

What makes anyone rich in any speculative market is a timing issue; you bought when the thing was worth X and a little bit later its worth Y, and so you sell and make the percent change between the two. Well if you assume that everyone bought when you did, then yes, its desirable that no one else should ever sell so that the thing's value goes up and you can make your money. But the problem is, there are people who bought before you, not at X (when you did), but at W, V, and T values. For them to make money, it doesn't need to go as far as Y (like it does for you), it only needs to go to your level, and BOOM, they can sell. Now that sucks for you, but put yourself in the shoes of the person who buys at Y one day (when you finally want to sell). You'll be doing to them the same thing that's been happening to you all this time. That's the only way a speculative market really works at the end of the day.

You are either arrogantly uninformed, willfully ignorant or extremely self-centered to believe that everybody here is investing to make money. Most of us do not even agree with the premises that most currencies are built upon. Reserve currencies are something that interest very few of us.

Almost everyone that you see here, that has been here for more than a couple years came here for freedom, decentralization, technological innovation and actual profit. Profit that equals progress, not simply more useless paper in your back pocket. You should not claim to know the motivations of millions of users, else you risk yourself looking mentally unstable.

They're not "taking" anything. They are coming to an agreement with another person that is interested in buying their coin. One person says "I have X coin and I'll accept Y monies" the other person either agrees and sells their coin (to someone who may value it more, and have a long-term approach in mind) or they say "No, I'll give you Z monies for your X coin". Nobody is taking anything, except you are taking the market for granted, believing that is meant to work exclusively for your financial benefit. The market is simply a consensual contract machine, and it is not greedy for one person to say "I'm willing to accept $X for my Bitcoin.". They earned that Bitcoin, bought that Bitcoin or acquired that Bitcoin through their hardwork and creativity, which means they are entitled to do whatever they please with this coin. If they got these coins at $2, who are you to tell them to hold onto it even longer, because you want to make more profit from your coins?

What comes up must go down. Everytime the market goes for a push, everyone is expecting it to go down sooner. Why? People need to book profits and liquidate assets for new opportunities. Also, most people wouldn't buy something that they deem overbought or overpriced, that's why a conitnuous rise isn't sustainable since one way or another, things wills fall apart. Those left hoarding can't do anything with their bags if no one wants to buy it, so ultimately they'd sell it lower than the market price and things would start to crumble.

If everyone will only buy bitcoin and not sell it, bitcoin will constantly grow in price. This will be an ordinary financial bubble, which, with the next manifestation of volatility, when alarmists start selling their bitcoins, may drop sharply in price, down to practical depreciation. You can not allow bitcoin to grow uncontrollably in price. This is the way to a standstill. Bitcoin should basically be used as a means of payment, and not a means of accumulating value, then it can exist for a very long time.

the price change is greatly influenced by the sales volume, the seller's volume is greater than the buyer's volume = the price drops
so vice versa the seller's volume is less than the buyer's volume, the price goes up I think that's his basic principle,
if you say stop selling auto sellers down but can you guarantee buyer volume will increase?
or go find another cheaper coin?

Trading is always about buying and selling, you can't just keep buying without selling . price must go up and come down base on many factors. Everyone is in to make money, and this can be done in different ways like investing in ICO, buy when low and sell when high, buy and hold for long term. All this actions involves buying and selling. yes ... if all follow this advice "stop selling" and all hold so no one sells. i think this coin will be left by the buyer because his circulation stopped.
my logic if you see a coin whose circulation is slow, meaning this coin is not so in interest especially if its circulation stopped ,,, this coin is dead
