YooPing will protect you from Spam and Phishing, which costs the global economy $50bln annually. Our messaging app is a hybrid crypto wallet, messaging client and some clever protocols which give you spam and phishing protection by default. Just as stamps are used in the physical world to send letters, our digital stamps (YPNG tokens) are required by people sending unsolicited messages to you. Our ICO price is just $0.25, giving early purchasers 50% discount (non-ICO countries are eligible).

We are a social impact organisation. We believe we can protect people and businesses from spam and phishing by including sender risk and digital identity. Our protocols and APIs will be open, so existing communication providers can use them to help protect their users. Our utility token (YPNG) will be the value or "digital stamp" needed to use the protocol and deliver unsolicited messages.

If you would like spam and phishing protection by default, please register for an account. Even if you are not thinking about buying our stamp or investing in our ICO, but just want protection, as soon as we go live you will be able to use our service for free.

Please bear with us on the news. We will only announce news when it is genuine. We will never over-hype our project and we will always protect our investors. For example,  we won't run excessive free bounty campaigns, give free airdrops (unless its to existing investors), try to build large, fake telegram channels, recruit shills etc). Instead we will be honest.

Regarding some more news....In the next few days we will be announcing a demo area which demonstrates an indicative flow for unsolicited email, so please keep an eye on the website news section. We can't announce it here because it involves asking people to send an email to a demo address and the moderators will probably delete it (even though its a genuine demo address...we'll see).

We are also working hard on our open APIs / protocol design and implementation, which any communication partner will be able to use.

Also, our hybrid wallet/messaging client (which is a commercial implementation of our service) and which uses our not for profit protocols / apis is underway. Its only macOS based and only support email for now, we'll add more platforms and communications protocols faster if our ICO is successful.

We'll make further announcements soon.

The protocol and APIs will be open for any provider to implement, if they decide to protect their users.

Until we get partners adopting those, we will create our own messaging client (email, IM, VoIP, streaming) implementation which you can use. It's deliberately on the client, so you won't have to change your email service provider, you just need our client running to perform the spam / phishing checks so that unsolicited messages get quarantined until the sender pays your "delivery fee". Hopefully, some large email providers will add the protocols onto their server-side applications to make the process even more seemless.... that's our hope as it will mean the communication industry is committed to protecting their users from spam & phishing by default.  

Try sending an email to demo AT yooping dot com and you'll get an indication as to what the unsolicited sender will receive if you are either i) using our client or ii) using the messaging client of a partner who has implemented our open APIs / protocol.

We have integrated coingate for our ICO. That means there are 50+ crypto currencies that can be deposited in our ICO. You can see the full list here: https://coingate.com/accept-altcoins. We also accept FIAT card deposits via a UK distribution company, but currently have to pay tax on those purchases. We are doing that to ensure the investor still receives the same number of tokens. We are still investigating solutions which may make this more efficient.

Thank you for your kind words, we had some great bounty guys & gals who did a fantastic job.

We believe spam can be eradicated by making it uneconomical. We do so by applying sender risk (a potentially refundable fee, think smart contracts) for unsolicited communications. It's important the user controls the size of the fee and who they apply it to, as everyone's requirements will be different.

We believe phishing can be addressed by enforcing digital identity. In order to use our protocols, senders and recipients "sign" important information during the handshake. The keys are bound to source addresses (email, phone number, instant message accounts) which can be checked using auto-diallers. Also an layer of AI (and hopefully government support which we are trying to discuss ).

So, we do believe its technically possible, but its a lot of work as it has to be massive scale, but low latency. That's why we need a successful ICO, so we can get the full team working on the solution full time.

It's Ian (Founder/CEO of YooPing) as I thought I should address this.

Thank you for the review. You're absolutely right that we aren't over-hyping or issuing loads of free bounty to drive our social media followers. We strongly believe projects that have done that have caused nearly as much damage to the ICO ecosystem as scammers. We don't believe it's right to tempt people into an ICO at price X and then dump free bounty which will immediately dilutes the ICO investors money to X/4 (as has happened a great deal). Therefore, we will grow our community responsibly and ensure their investment is not open to dilution, once we allow trading of our token (either on an exchange or via a relationship to FIAT which will be driven by supply and demand).

Therefore, although we don't think your 2/10 ranking is really representative, we understand it due to the information you have access to. However, we can disclose:

* We are under NDA whilst legals are agreed with a global technology partner (over 200k staff) who will assist developing and scaling our applications.
* We have been approached by 3 exchanges to list our token
* We have been invited to apply to an accelerator with a global telco who wrote to us stating "think that your profile stood out for a Business Development & Growth opportunity with the Ai & Blockchain acceleration program ". It's not guaranteed we will join this, but its nice to know the industry are recognising our potential.

As soon as we make announcements (hopefully within the next 2-4 weeks) we believe we will drive a lot more "non-hyped" interest.

It would be interesting to see if the general blockchain community prefer this honesty, or prefer more hype (e.g. some day traders like that choppy liquidity). It would also be interesting if the community would like us to re-open our ICO with an incentive before or after the announcements or go straight to exchange. So, should anyone read this and have a view, we'd love to get your feedback.
