It is good news that the exchanges in Hong Kong doesn't have to comply with the Bank of China regulations. Hing Kong can emerge as a refuge to all those mainland Chinese who feel suffocated by the new regulations.

Apparently it is for about 2+ years, starting in August 2013.

Their server is in Taiwan. Is that unusual? - we are usually told that the two jurisdictions are mortal enemies, but then we are told lots of things.
