The device is safe, it's the person that uses it that blocks the system from being 100% safe

Safe for what? Transmission of the shared secret is a known vulnerability, thus its not safe against "shoulder surfing attacks". Also "man in the middle" attacks are possible where someone is intercepting the one time passcode, which leaves a ~ 30 sec. timeframe for an attack.
Also you have to trust Google not to give your shared secret to anyone else.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
