i have two sealed powercolor 6950 1gb to trade. ideally i want to trade it for a reference 5870, but if someone wants to straight up buy it instead, i could probably do that too. so you're basically getting a brand new 6950 for a used 5870. if you want to buy, then maybe $230 $220 $210 shipped. terms if you're buying: i'm accepting paypal or amazon payment. i'm NOT accepting bitcoins or dwolla, i went through too much stress on my last BTC and dwolla payments. if you HAVE to pay with bitcoins or dwolla, i may consider it only if you have a lot of prior transaction references. these terms are pretty simple, if you don't agree to them, then don't bother contacting me. reference to newegg, $250 + shipping: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131389

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

just curious, is a new 6950 1gb a reasonable trade for a used 5870 1gb?

6950 = 350-400 mhash = sells around 200$
5870 - 400-450 mhash = sells around 250$
getting the upper numbers require bios flashing and extreme overclocking.

I can get about 462 MH/s out of one of my 5870's, but it's not 24/7 stable at that level. Odd thing is, I briefly switched over to mining Namecoins last night. When I decided to switch back to Bitcoins, I killed the namecoind task and fired up my Bitcoin miners and I was getting 494 MH/s out of my 5870s (according to Phoenix miner) at clock rates that should have been giving me around 450-452 MH/s.

@haploid23, offer some agreement of bitcoins + 6950 for a 5870. Or two 6950's + some bitcoins for two 5870's.
