The Winklevoss brothers are the first bitcoin billionaires and they put a large amount of their asset in bitcoin as they believe bitcoin has a good future. Bill Gates was first having a good thought on bitcoin and was even planning to integrate bitcoin with microsoft excel features but with the price of bitcoin going down tremendously Gates have changed his mind about how he thinks of bitcoin.

Anyone know how much bitcoin they own?  I don't think I've read anything about that lately, or the twins for that matter.  Regardless, it's pretty brazen for them to challenge Gates et al like they did.  On the other hand, I can respect Gates's position that bitcoin should be shorted.  Anyone who was watching the market when bitcoin hit 20k could probably predict that it got inflated far too fast, and shorting was an obvious thing to do at that point.  He isn't stupid by any means.

It is good for bitcoin that it has supporters like the Winklevosses after all these years.  It has got to be tough to have so much in it when the price has dropped so hard.  Can't even imagine how much they've lost in the past year, unless they've hedged it somehow.

Definitely your correct bill gates are scared to invest in bitcoin after bitcoin price collapse the price in the market in almost 6 months gates announce bitcoin become die, but in other of my opinion either gates make some fakes news for bitcoin  the first digital decentralized cryptocurrency before he buy a lot of bitcoin as their investment he wait the totally bitcoin dumping in very cheaper value and waiting again the price increase in this strategy he can get huge of profits.

Bill Gates is friends iwth Warren Buffet and the banking elites,  Of course Gates would be against bitcoin.  These financial institutions like mastercard are in big trouble in the future with the rise of bitcoin coming to the mainstream.

I wasn't expecting this anyway! well, kudos to Winklevoss brothers for consistent support, Honestly speaking Gates is bitten more than he can chew. I hope we will get some silence from him!
I have always love Gates for his support to humanitarian, I hope he takes the advice and his mouth where his money is.

Bill Gates is wealthy. Not necessarily due to him having the best business sense though considering he tried to dump his shares of microsoft for other financial assets which would have been worthless in comparison.  This quote sums it up well.



I never expected a celebrity callout over this. Bitcoin could use a few good ambassadors and spokespersons, maybe the Winklevoss Twins could excel in this role. Bitcoin and crypto currencies desperately need a face, an image, a symbol--something that is positive for people to associate bitcoin with. Name brand recognition goes a long way but someone who isn't a criminal, drug dealer, money launderer or assorted negative job description being involved with bitcoin could be exactly what it needs.

I think when it comes to investments, we can rely on the winklevoss twins rather than bill gates, since both twins knows a good investment when they see one, an example of this is facebook,they know that it can can change the world, but the real creator is mark zuckerberg, but I really think that the idea had came from the twins to make it global, mark just know how to do it, and aside from faceboook, both twins before had declared that they were the first billionaires in bitcoin, with that being said, that means they had already invested in bitcoin even way before it had reached 1000 usd or probably 100 usd, but as for bill gates, he know how to be rich by becoming an entrepreneur, and sometimes he has bad decision for the future, they can dominate smart phones today if only he had released the technology before, since he had created the first tablet, so there is a reason why both twins can say "put your money where mouth is" to bill gates.
