This is what I expect to see from governments, I feel like moving to Australia now lol

https://www.ccn.com/australian-government-budget-injects-700000-for-blockchain-research/

I see blockchain as a good solution for government transparency and efficiency, unfortunately in countries like mine (Brazil) such investments won't be part of the agenda, I feel like I won't live to see that :/
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Almost all countries are developing blockchains, and the blockchain is undoubtedly the new technology of the future.
However, I hope that more countries can accept the whole cryptocurrency market in an inclusive manner.

i guarantee you .. craig wright will not return to australia to ask for a resarch grant
he will get arrested for his scams

that said $700k for 4 years... well that is small. thats like only 1-3 'professor'/crypto developer intellect salaries. so not that big of a budget.

at a stretch that could be used to pay 7 fresh graduates at $25k a year.
what is more likely is that the funds would be used to "sponsor" hyperledger

Australia is a country that is advanced and sophisticated. Blockchain has been created based on an advanced technology. Looking at Australia, many countries will be realistic and supportive of the crypt-currency. Even if the amount of AUD $700,000 (approx. $520,000) is small, a step to enter the crypt world.

Blockchain will spread into every area of our lives. People love immutable ledgers and there will be no shortage of applications for them. It'll grow like a wildfire

With a country like Australia and its government getting on the BTC bandwagon, I can only see bigger and better things for BTC as a global currency.
Beautiful country as well and would like to visit it sometime in the near future.

Australia is being smart, they recognize crypto and especially bitcoin for the force that it is. All the smart countries do or they will eventually.

Most of the governments as well as private institutions around the world have invested money in learning more about the blockchain and its feasibility on a larger scale and this being a new technology i am sure there will be plenty of projects and changes in the entire structure in the future and it will be implemented in many government projects to have a trust system which cannot be manipulated.

This is goodness... Most of the countries are now seeing the importance of Blockchain.. Total transparency. I believe with time it will spread over the world and they will be making good used of it. And also before you know it.. Bitcoin will be accepted in offline and online and will be legalized. So we should not give up.. We should continue to spread the importance of cryptocurrency opportunity to others and the use of Blockchain for solving problem and bring more solution to transparency in the world.

that is good support. Today more governments are banning bitcoins because they know that fiat has collapsed and begins to lose its value. so in the future that survives only gold and the blockchain system.

I am sure that in the future there will be many countries that prioritize blockchain for transactions. so the government will aware that the blockchain system is a solution to improve the economy and even the state revenue will be channeled to blockchain.

Good news. Governments should understand as soon as possible the usefulness of the blockchain in many sectors of public administration such as health, but also in political voting. There are also many ideas to use the blockchain in the traceability of origin of the products and in the verification of authenticity of the works of art that could be of inestimable importance in the prevention of commercial frauds.

Blockchain is the future  Cool

On the flip side of course if the government is involved there's less possibility of crypto being 'free' since governments would still take their fees.

Now, this are the type of news we should be receiving concerning the new technology blockchain. Many governments think they are being smart, but the truth is, they are  the ones losing. As the world is growing, so does the latest technology and it will be so unfortunate if many governments reluctant and refuse to really part take in growing innovation.

Blockchain technology is a global craze. The application value of block chain technology is widely recognized in all countries, and it is concerned and promoted from the national strategic level.

Australia does not want to be a follower of the blockchain, and no country wants to follow it!

To strengthen the research of block chain technology, to be the leader of blockchain is what any country wants to do!

Slowly most Gov will allow Cryptocurrency as people love it. Gov can not stop what people want, they will have to support soon or later, if they want to get votes Smiley Good to see Australian govt realized that sooner, hoping more govt will follow this and allow crypto.

Yes, Australia is the second country(behind Japan) as far as I know that legalizes bitcoin so it would make sense for them to embrace and keep the blood flowing specially research involving blockchain.

We all know that there are a lot of benefits using this technology. In fact almost big banks are already experimenting on blockchain specially helping them secure the data and improved their services because data can be accessible anytime and can't be tainted by anyone. Glad that Australia is really living up to expectations as of this moment.

every day i always hear good information about bitcoin development, Australia want to expand its wings to the blockchain. because Australia is aware that blockchain will attract many investors.

such as petro backed by 5 billion barrels of oil, but the results are very good. and venezuela can improve its economy.
