Think of Lottocoin as a successful global super brand... this was the premise I began with when investing in the coin and also offering my advice

Please ask yourself:
• Did the old logo represent a successful global super brand. SIMPLE ANSWER: NO
• Does the new logo represent a successful global brand: WE GOT HALF WAY THERE
• Does branding effect end user and investor confidence: YES
• Should a brand with a market cap in excess of XXXX and with a potential future market cap of XXXX (you do the math) be launched on a piece of poor clip art. NO
• Is 3 Bitcoin, in the scheme of the evolution of a global super brand too much? ??

Lesson:
Don't scrimp on branding costs just because 'it is not done around here like this'.

Please, please read my branding advice thread to understand exactly why branding is so important when launching a coin and why major corporates spend many millions (not low thousands) on their brand development. And lastly... if you think 3 Bitcoin is too much then you will never launch a global super brand successfully unless you know a brand consultant or pay a brand consultant. I can assure you, when you find out how much pro-brand consultants charge (not micky mouse designers who have a 3D progeam they know how to use)* you will discover how little 3 bitcoin is.

[Edit] *Appologies but this statement was not aimed at the current lotto logo designer who actually did quite well under the circumstances.

hey funkycoin, you talk so much shit and rant about branding + logo design and bitch and moan about mrlotto not willing to payyou 3BTC for your awesome logo design service correct?

Why not buy some LOT for low its price of 13 satoshi and release a free logo for the community to consider? If your ideas/design is so epic, your design should get a lot of positive comments and the design will be used, at which point your magical design is going to do its trick and make the price for to 52 satoshi or even more? hmmmm if your so confident in your work, prove it.

Funkycoin why dont you stop being keyboard warriors and do something positive?

and y3804 why haven't you died already? No one would miss you, all you been doing is flaming, you been nothing but a useless piece of shit that stir up commotion, so why not just stick a key into the electrical socket and shock some sense into yourself?

... open book accounts on the premine.... If this wants to break free from being considered another "scam" coin with premine ready to dump, then this information needs making public.

exactly why I dumped at 13... there's only 45 bitcoin on the books to absorb a dump between 14 and 9... scary thought with so many coins unaccounted for... I genuinely felt my bitcoins are 'safer' taking a hit at 13...
waiting to buy back in... even at a loss... once this major issue is addressed and I see the DEVS respond to ALL the issues with a workable business plan that is well thought out and implemented... as I pointed out a few pages ago ... they are currently conspicuous by their absence.

1.  Completely open book accounts on the premine.  If I had 1 LOT for each time I've said it I'd probably have 25% of the premine.

PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE:
Giveaways 68,000,000
payments to 3rd partys (includes dev support and marketing) 110,000,000
Bounties 40,000,000
Development team 50,000,000 x 3 = 150,000,000
Jdebunt & Sergios articles & press releases = 8,000,000
-----------------------------------------------------
total used: 368,000,000

It's right there.... Smiley first post Smiley the premine is 2% which is 368 million LOT and it's all accounted for Smiley

You call that open book??  Cheesy

Where are the addresses, amounts, dates?   You know, basic accounting stuff.

Those figures could be completely made up for all anyone knows.  Excel sheet or similar ledger that can be verified by looking at the blockchain is open book accounting.
List of the third parties that total the 110M for example - who, how much and what for.

That is not open book and you know it.  There are only two possible reasons why the dev team are not prepared to provide a full ledger including addresses, dates and amounts.  Either they have not kept track of this premine properly, which would be totally unprofessional, or the above figures are untrue and hide something which would be viewed negatively.

Again, if the "dev team" and people like Hampuz etc want the coin taken seriously by the mass market, then treat it seriously.

PS. we keep hearing about the "dev team", but only ever know of one person.  I have my suspicions that there is only one dev, but has made up another two team members to make the 150M kept for the "dev team" seem more reasonable.  Open book, wallet addresses and dates of transactions for where the premine is, or I (and everyone else who has issues with premines) will call BS on it.

I can tell you C3ALL that I would like to know as much as you do, but I think it will be hard for us to get a true open book with dates and accurate numbers. I think those numbers we see here are somewhat correct, and from what the information I have gathered it should be true.  And then we can always sit here and debate how much the creator of the coin should get etc, but it will honestly take us nowhere.

I can try and talk with mrlotto, and see if we could setup a proper document of this. But as he has made several hundreds transactions as many of us, it would probably be hard at this point. Or it would take a lot of effort & time.

But I'll do my best and see what i can gather up. Ill keep you all posted on that!

Cheers.

The time and effort it would take to create this documente would be worth it 100* times.
Would be a good step forward to show an open book. Go satisfy some minds.
It´s obviously a big thing that has to be cleared. Would help LOT a lot Wink

Yep, that is why I will take my time now, discuss it with mrlotto & really clear this up. All i'm asking for in return is a bit of patience. And trust towards me.

Since I am not one of the dev's, I do not own a website that takes LOT. I have invested a small amount at RapidBalls yes, but they have an investment program that is fair and good.  I do not hold any premine, I can come clean and say that my full amount of LOT is a bit over 30M. That i bought between 10-30satoshis, investing everything I had in to it.
So ofcourse I would want it to succeed, but it has become more than just getting money, I enjoy it. I enjoy our community, the different voices, the ideas and the visions.

I'll do my best, and I'll come back to you guys with some answers Smiley.

Cheers!

Thanks for taking the point seriously.  Hope that there can be some progress made.   As above it will certainly take a lot of effort, but it would increase the trust and image of the coin massively imho.  Perhaps best way is to start keeping records of the transactions going forward, and back fill from the beginning.

Any bounties or giveaways from the premine going forward, when they are claimed, just post a record of the date and address sent etc.  Then go back and fill the others in when time allows.   This way people can see straight away that work is being done to be open book, without having to wait until all the transactions from day 1 are listed before such an account is published.

Just a thought.  And thanks again for responding to the point seriously and with an honest view.  Much appreciated.
