I think what you do right now with this giveaway is exactly what IFC needs: spreading the coin, encourage spending it - instead of a few people hoarding it. Only coins in circulation can gain a sustainable support and value.

Fruitful suggestions are,

1. Grab interest from gamblers. This would bring floods of users for the coin. Offer bounties to game creators, testers and also let the gamble sites to offer free coins to throw the players.

2. Create blockchain compression and offer big bounty to the developers.

3. Create a separate giveaway thread and ask community to write about atleast 100 words of information related to ifc, how to use it? Brainstorming.
