@senseless, I hope those who are looking for refund would not need to wait for waterblocks delivery issue to be resolved. And then for installation of those. And then for what comes next after that.
 Please confirm.

Can someone link the discord channel of this? Do you ship outside the U.S? I'm interested to be part on the 2nd batch or maybe those who already given up hopes in 1st batch.

Send me a message on DIscord (@Cryptoman#0825)

To get my money back sooner I will gladly sell you my 4 FPGAs from the 1rst batch at original price (non-RAM BCU1525). EU or US or Canadian wire transfer. If Paypal then the price +plus Paypal fee.
Price is 3,350 per item. But I need to ask if they haven't been sold yet by the Allmine/ SQRL. I am waiting for refund anyway therefore  I do not know what the latest news are. But as I understand, the joint venture has already sold out everything that was supposed to be refunded  a week or more ago.
Would be great if the Allmine and SQRL could confirm if they have resold everything already.

Non-ram bcu with stock heatsink would have shipped earlier this week. But the buyer is taking a big risk that you even have an fpga order.

@senseless

Thx for the update.

Get some sleep.  Smiley

Thanks finally left to sleep. Back at it tomorrow.

sorry but refunds has to be procesed in a certain time.  Refunding costumers will wait 6 months because you do other work. Understandable, you are not a robot, but still... get some help.

3 weeks != 6 months. We've been busy this month doing the things necessary to ship. Yes, shipping takes priority... For a multitude of obvious reasons.

Think of this  - as customers we are only considered when we have paid. We do not say "sorry i will pay in 2-3 weeks or may be later when and if I get paid, may be, but please send the goods today".

From my point of view, you, and customers asking for refunds after their hardware has been manufactured in general, are a liability. When manufacturing something you need to part with your money months before having hardware in hand. You most likely will try to part with only as much money as it is going to end up making you money, so you will use customer preorders to gauge how many units need to be in the batch. A customer asking for a refund after the order is sent to the CM and before it is delivered creates a cashflow problem. It's easy to see how that problem could become very critical if you don't have deep pockets and if you can't swiftly resell the cancelled units.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:

Yeah, but a business venture is supposed to account for cancellations/refunds when there are manufacturing delays. You can't have your Customers having all the downside where literally time is money.

I am not faulting Allmine. I am sure they are hard at work and doing their best, just pointing out this argument is in-correct.

@cedivad, I have asked before it was manufactured, way before. I do not see how my refund request that has still not been fulfilled has damaged anybody but me. They were pretty clear: "sorry  looser, we have no more money to pay you, you have to wait". This was more than 2 months ago and I am still waiting, when the  reason for excuse does not exist any more. (Coz they have already resold everything plus have received frozen funds from Paypal orders).
Now the new thing is, they unilaterally  decided to set  priorities differently again, instead of hiring couple more people to do the refunds part. Why is that customer's problem ?
Honestly, if they can't hire an employee to do a refund, I would pay for it myself,  just to get my money. Damn I would pay for the whole 8 hours of work, even if it only takes 3-5 minutes to process a refund.

Absolutely. And it looks like they will be doing it shortly, so I don't see a problem with it. Your customers are not facing any more downside than you are, they preordered and changed their mind, they can wait some time before getting their money back independently of time being money due to their gambling addiction. I wait a couple of months all the time for my own refunds. I sometimes even process refunds and never had anyone complaining if it wasn't done right away because of time being money. They were just happy they got their money back. Some of those refunds had been sitting on a shelf for a good couple of months before I got to them, same story as here, I was busy with more important things.

Also, I'm assuming we are talking about 3 weeks here, two months would be getting a bit much. I honestly have no idea.

Some general info

#1) Orders were placed between June 6 - Sept.  - 5 mo since first order
#2) First refund requests happened around last day of Aug (could be considered Sept 1) - we're about 45 (49 to be precise) days since Sept 1.
#3) Most of the refunds have already been processed (80-90% -- there are still a lingering few)

The worst are when people request refunds, harass you about getting it, then "change their mind" and want to get units. Like, I get it, consumer protection laws are there to protect consumers. But to be expected to deal with this insanity is far more senseless than me.

I've been regularly working 36+ hours straight to make this happen. If it were possible I'd just forego sleeping and eating entirely. Unfortunately that would probably result in me going to the hospital which would cause added delays. We'll get everything processed. But right now -- CUSTOMERS -- come first.

Strange.  I just checked my documents and emails.  I  requested my refund on August 13th. And the order was paid on June 15th (payment receipt confirmed June 19th)

Also, could anybody tell me  what 3 weeks timeframe do people mean in this thread? What is it exactly? And when does it start?

Non-ram bcu ...But the buyer is taking a big risk that you even have an fpga order.
We actually did it already a few times, Jess from SQRL helped a lot and supervised the transaction. This way customer knew before paying that the order existed, then the money were paid and the contact info was changed internally on joint venture end.  It always involved somebody from the joint venture therefore nobody got hurt except that i had to do those absolutely unnecessary steps to get my money.

Non-ram bcu with stock heatsink would have shipped earlier this week.
So, this means my cards are not only resold but already shipped to the new customers?

Looks like someone spent some money they did not own, then products got delayed and now they can't pay back the interest. I'd call the credit company, maybe they have some sort of grace period, and hopefully you get your refund before then.

If you requested a refund that early you should have been one of the first. I'll find out on monday from SQRL why you haven't been refunded yet. Can you PM me your order details?

I have no idea if your cards were shipped to the new customers or not. I can find out though.

The electricity cost is absolutely minimal and there's future project from Sidehack i would like to see to completion. I guess it's a bit like kickstarting him except i get a little  something from it now.

May be you can spend those few valuable minutes on Monday simply making a refund to me? It will hardly take much longer to do than to have 3 minutes talk with SQRL team. The only cards that i have on the order are those i paid for directly to Allmine. (I used to have SQRL order but i resold it - or i would not have gotten that money either). Plus  I know what their answer was ( "we run out of money, wait"). Yours was that I was not the first in the queue. Honestly, I do not want to know why something did not go in the past as it should have went, it is irrelevant at the moment. I just want a refund.
Also, Squirrels are not returning my messages in Discord since September 27. This also explains the panic mode here. So i d prefer if you spend those valuable minutes refunding me if it gets me my money faster. Also, I do not care anymore if I loose on conversion from USD to Euro or not. You can send it to original account where it came from, to the bank in EU.The details were provided in email. I can resend the details if needed.
Thanks.

@dazzmore,
I do not quite understand what you are suggesting. Can you elaborate more? I cannot initiate any returns via banks as far as I know, it is not Paypal. I paid 4 months ago in fiat with an international wire transfer.

All funds were sent to SQRL - the only customer funds I still hold are frozen in paypal. They are the ones processing refunds. I have committed to use paypal funds to refund the remaining customers once they're unlocked. Until they're unlocked please contact sales@squirrelsresearch.com to find out why you haven't been refunded yet. As I said before, I will find out from them why they have not refunded you on monday.

If you didn't pay via credit card, then this does not apply to you. Someone I know got wrekt involving credit cards with crypto, and didn't have the money to back it up during this down market. I hope you can get your refund soon. Just keep following up with them via email/PM, but give them time to process.

@senseless,
i emailed sales@
Yes, please remind them to process my payment ASAP and update me on Monday.
Also, just to remind you,  in DM on Discord over 2 weeks ago you mentioned that if SQRL do not refund me by the begin of shipping - you will:
Quote
Either they will refund you before we ship, or I will refund you from paypal funds.
After all my order is with your company Allmine, and it is the liable party here.
Thank you.
