I've tried accessing mtgox.com from the computer I am currently using, from my home computer (by remoting in) and from downforeveryoneorjustme.com, and everything indicates that mtgox is down.  Is no one else having problems?  My chrome ticker is still showing trades going through... very odd.

do you run a bot on the same ip you use to trade ? or hit refresh 3 times / second ? you probably been hit by the prolexic anti ddos feature .

Nope, I don't do such things.  And I haven't even accessed it for days...  Usually, I'll just open it up to see what trades are doing, refresh it maybe once or twice a day, and that's it.

West Coast US here too.  I wonder if some link between here and Japan is down, and they haven't routed around it yet.

It's up for me, but down for others:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/mtgox.com

downforeveryoneorjustme.com probably doesn't work well together with a web site utilizing anti-ddos tech. not 100% certain though

btw mtgox is down for me too on the east coast US, but mtgox's chrome gadget is working fine and reporting new trades

Maybe (or not) related, since weeks chrome tells me that mtgox is down on first access. I have to hit F5 and it runs normally. Maybe some strange prolexic "feature"...
BTW, it is up from here

For some reason, I had to try 2 times to access MtGox with Chrome. Second time around it worked (from France). Is this a problem specific to Chrome ?
