Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

That's epic indeed. Bitcoin goes everywhere Smiley

I also really like that bitcoin logo used on the flag (with the arrows and the globe), anyone knows where it comes from?

Fantastic image - just my iphone can't scan that QR code. Can he do another one with just the QR code in the pic?

He could probably eat a dozen pizzas a day with the calories he must be burning.

Its just another example of how transformative a technology bitcoin is. All you need now is an image and people can send you money. That's fantastic innovation.

I know you won't see it, you seem pretty down at the moment Sad

epic indeed!

if someone could get a more clear/larger image of that QR code I'm sure the community wouldn't mind sending some donations.

There is one, although don't know if it's big enough to use properly. Maybe there's a larger version out there.

Weird activism?
Consider it distributed advertising.

It's this kind of activism that gets it into the mainstream

I agree. Love this about it. Imagine being in a foreign country and your family or friends being able to send you money easily. This is why I hope Bitcoin starts getting picked up by merchants in more and more locations. I'd love to be in all these different counties and see the Bitcoin logo. Hopefully this will become a reality one day.
