I wasn't around at MEG times and freetrade mentioned something about a dilution, but what I understood you should have your balance converted. I'd recommend to just give it a try!

Do you want to suggest, that it will die after that? no, the coin will be come scarce (rare) which will cause the price to rase up. like other coins. It also depends alot on the community and the coin owners how they will interact with the market and their coins (sell, buy, transaction with goods) in my opinion a coin will have eternal live if it gets in the transaction system of an avarage user. (buy stuff with it) |

No, it won't be dead. MMC has been here long time and will be here long time. one of the stable altcoins with unique features. but mining period will come to an end mmc will be rare, that's a good thing for most of coins out there. I was suggesting that you should mine while you can  |

Any predictions on future value? I've been quietly mining away for a while with a few threads, but I've only mined about 20 right now. Is it really worth just buying instead of mining?

in my opinion if you buy youll have to sell it for a higher price, you never know if the coin Will raise its value or dropit , its a matter of Luck... but theres a lot of people making money that way... mining for the less you get its always profit... for what ive read MMC still the most profitable cpu coin. |

It is still mainly a CPU coin. It is even GPU resistant making CPU's the most efficient way to mine Memorycoin. Isn`t it time to rename thread to something else than "CPU Coin"?

I dunno. when I first started crypto. I mined this coins for weeks on a few computers and only got 2.5 memcoins ouch. This coin is GPU, ASIC and CPU resistant. jeje. jk. Anyway I mined easier stuff on GPU then just ended up trading some for about 800 memcoin. So yes I think it's just easier to buy/trade. I am taking a chance, but I do know how hard this is to mine. |
