I don't understand why the fact that you ignore someone should affect the way i see him.
This. Completely this. Selecting who to read, who to trust, and who's opinion to consider relevant should all be personal decisions. The existence of DefaultTrust is bad enough already. Do we really DefaultIgnore or DefaultReadingList. It's not enough for the OP to use his own Ignore button. He needs to be validated by forcing everyone else to emulate his behavior because he's an insecure, immature child whose mother trained him to whinge incessantly. I would love another feature.
If I have X on Ignore , and Y quotes his post , the post would automatically be also hidden , even if I don't have Y on ignore too.

I would like to have more than a binary ignore option.
Instead of just hiding posts I would like the option for example to give certain users posts a different background color and a compressed presentation with less spaces and smaller fonts.
