I am too lazy to do much of anything with the 309 BTC I am escrowed with.

But if you have a good idea on how to spread bitcoin and make bitcoin more useful with the money donated, let me know. Just don't make me work too hard.

Spend it on a motion graphics video, like the weusecoins.com video, which points out and discusses the safe and unsafe ways to use bitcoin. Something easy and familiar for newb to learn more, after they've been introduced to the Bitcoin concept.

Alternatively, use it to hire translators for various projects - French, German, Mandarin, Urdu, etc....

Alternatively, use it to create a tutorial on how to be as anonymous as possible with Bitcoin. Maybe discuss Tor or other techniques. There are alot of libertarian types who crave Bitcoin but aren't tech-savvy developers.

Hi!

Make a loan for me, I finish my mining rig here in Brazil, then I pay back to you around 360 BTC, or more if I can, in December, or so I get your 360 BTC back.  ^_^

I'm already selling a lot of my stuff on Brazilian eBay (http://mercadolivre.com.br) to complete my mining rig, but it is very hard to keep hoping to sell my stuff to buy the required equipment...

My user + stuff at Brazilian eBay:

Thiago

I am adverse to making a loan using all the funds.

I am happy and open to ways of increasing the funds, though I dislike holding the money.

One of the thing on my todo list is find a trusted person who handle half of the money and do the work of making effective use of the funds.

You just find that trusted person!  ^_^

I always do one thousand accounts before spending any money. After all, money is something that should be used very well, very carefully, like you said, effectively.

Well, I really want to reach soon the 6000 MHash. Today I am in Deepbit.net at 2800 MHash today. I do not need to pay electricity or air-conditioning and I have some motherboards just waiting my wished 5870s...

Oh yeah, absolutely... I just need at least 150~200 BTC...

Also, I'm working with some guys who make the open source software called Intersango, to bring my brazilian exchange online, the devel address is http://dev.cambiodebitcoins.com.br and the near future production address is http://cambiodebitcoins.com.br .

I just find minor bugs at the Intersango software when I was working with Dooglus, when I finalise the tests, I'll starting the marketing.

My last work for the Bitcoin community was this:

Intersango HOWTO
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=35812.0

If you help me with this... Man... I'll be so happy!!! You have no idea!!

Kind Regards,
Thiago

We need to bring a billion Chinese into the bitcoin loop. Use your 309 for that.
Chinese don't like their gov't, we don't like ours. Let' all opt-out.

Buy kradminer:

http://kradminer.com

It's a browser based GPU miner. The creator lowered his price to 50 BTC.

Krad Miner was used in bitcoinsforcharity.org, and I think it was a great way to expand usage of bitcoins. The operator of Krad Miner shut it down though after coming under DOS attacks.

That is a awesome solution!

The author of the Krad Miner, might as well, release it once and for all, to the open source community! Under GPL2 license, for example... If I had 50 extra BTC, I would love to do that!

Oh.. BTW, my intention is also make bitcoin more useful here in Brazil, and in the world...

My plan involves hiring one or two software engineers to work exclusively with the Bitcoin client. Like the redesign of the GUI interface, maybe based in something more cool than WxWindows, like Aqua for Mac, GTK3 for Linux and C# for Windows... Also, extracting the core of the software to a library, called LibBitcoin, so, everybody will be able to develop your own GUI based on whatever toolkit they want.

But this is for the beginning of 2012 and after my mining rig is running at 10GHash.

Thanks!

I am intrigued with the idea of buying Kradminer.com

However, I dislike maintenance projects and increased responsibility for myself. I also do not see much upside to buying kradminer.com for the community.

I agree owning kradminer.com would be cumbersome. I suggest just paying to open source the krad miner software.

Chinese don't like their gov't, we don't like ours. Let' all opt-out.

I hate the brazilian government. They do nothing besides steal from our people, every single day. We are living in a sad joke, in a very powerful bad trip... In a living nightmare. Not to mention that the Amazon forest is disappearing at an alarming rate! They don't care about electric vehicles, recycling, health, sustainability, renewable energies, education, nothing... They just care about power, taxes and money to their own wallets.

I'm doing my best to make it (gov's) irrelevant, by creating a new and improved society, maybe a full open source society, powered by tools like "Open Source Ecology - GVCS" and / or by The Venus Project and, of course, powered by an open source economy like Bitcoin!

Bitcoin is one of the most powerfull tool for help us in achieve this. So, the Bitcoin deserves my full attention!

So, Kiba, if you make a loan to me, you can be sure that I'll do the best I can with it and, repay it to you with a little interest soon as possible.

I know it's very hard to trust people, especially at the Internet and, even worse, when there is money involved. But I'm here fighting for a better world, for us and for our kids.

 Have a nice week!

Best,
Thiago

Maybe, if you buy the software for the community and, make a donation request at the main web page to support the project, you will receive back your 50 BTC more quickly than you think!

Only I can donate 5 BTC, divided in 1 BTC per week, for the guy wich possible do this.   Wink

But honestly, I never used that software, so, before hitting the hammer, somebody needs to evaluate the software, to see if it's worth investing in it.

Regards,
Thiago
