Hi guys ,
Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets ?? Has any one noticed that the current bull run that has been on for the last few weeks comes to a halt every time it reaches the 10 k mark and slides down . My theory is that whales sell at 10k and then create fud so market slides down only to buy back and pump . What do you think ?

Possibly the whales that has huge holdings of bitcoin manipulate the bitcoins prices.They can be able to do such thing because they can dump their bitcoin anytime and bought back to their wallets.They have the capability to do so..and can play the game of cryptocurrencies.

Yes theres probably they manipulate it. Because if you notice if someone will sell huge amount of token the price of token will immediately go down. Thats also happen when a while invest huge amount on a token. It will pump and rise

Yes they do manipulate the market and I believe that last year was as a result of the whales in this business manipulating the price up and done. They wait t for us to panic sell our Bitcoins and then they will get in and buy lots of coins at a cheaper rate making the price to pump unexpectedly.

When people start to rush in and buy, they will wait till price gets high and then they withdraw and the price will crash with lots of people losing their money. Sometimes it’s good to cut loss🙄. If you’re not careful, you will lose profit and both the money you invested.

If I do not think that anyone can manipulate the market because the market is controlled by the market participants themselves, maybe the ups and downs of the price of a coin are influenced by the amount of supply and demand and again the amount of supply available today.

They have a great financial power, they can manipulate the market making huge sell orders and buy orders.
whales did the last Dec pump and the following dump. They are slowly buying BTC back and we will see soon another bullrun.

it is correct,Whales will use a tactic called rinse and repeat, this method can be extremely profitable to a whale if timed right. The holder with a large percentage of that coins volume starts selling off lower then the market rate, which in turn causes people to start panic selling. Then the whale will watch and re-buy back in when the price of the coin reaches a new low. Then just repeats this process accumulating more wealth, more coins, and more control over that coin.

Another way a whale can manipulate the price is by using buy and sell walls. If the coin drops people will generally start to buy in at a lower price and sell when it reaches a higher price. Makes sense. A whale has to have the actual funds to create the walls on the exchange. They can stack up either buy or sell walls and watch the price when it hits exactly where they want it then BOOM the wall disappears because they have canceled that large buy or sell order. There are actual real huge buy and sell walls that are not manipulated by whales.

Whales with large amount money can do that. Its free market and anybody can move market price if they have large capital. Maybe whales can manipulates price but if holder keep their coin and not selling their coin, I am believe whales can not do anything to manipulate price

of course big investors manipulate the price according to their well. They have full control over the market and when they need they change the price. no doubt this is not good for new investors. Other problem is that many people do not want to invest their money in bitcoin because they are aware of such manipulation from the whales.

This may be true, or not. But you have a good point there. Observing the price the past 2 years, your point is very viable. Last year there was some information circling the bitcoin market, it was expected the price to go 100k but it stopped and started to fall. I'll add to your theory that not only they sell big at prices over 10k, but they flood the market with fake news about potential price growth and thus the prices rise to the desired limit, and they sell. It's a circle, and I won't be surprised if we have something like this in the months ahead of us.

Well the whales can manipulate the values of Bitcoin and other crypto in the market but I think if the users stay sticked to their plans and strategies, and do not change their behavior from being optimistic to pessimistic one, they will be able to overcome the manipulations by the hackers. The number of users using Bitcoin is far more than the number of whales in the market.

Yes,whales are the only manipulator not only on bitcoin but the whole cryptomarket. And with this, we need to be more careful before investing on bitcoin or altcoins. Be more observant with the graph and its flow everyday or else,you will end up as a looser

I know that the whales can manipulate the market but for me, it doesn't make me think that whales are manipulating the market because the market is still being driven by the law of supply and demand and that is the main reason why the market is moving and not purely because of the whales because if the whales are manipulating the market that much then people will abandon that market.

Good answer. Just like you are doing you're saying and nothing else no matter. It corrects because if you will listen and be influenced of the manipulator, you will never get profit.

Bitcoin market is very much influenced by the news and whales are using this Medium to manipulate the prices. Also the holders of the bitcoins does not show much confidence in their investments as they always tend to panic sell on bad news. The Whales take good opportunity for this behavior of ordinary investors.

Not everything in the market depends on the whales. Very heavily on the position of the market affects the news and the number of people who started trading on the crypto exchange.

everything is possible and if you can see they can mange to put walls which is hard to break.

Unfortunately they are because someone having authority in a department will use the authority and whales have that authority and can manipulate the price easily which is something we have witnessed in the past. But there are other factors that can be made work for the restoration of the market like the promotion of crypto by the government and informing people publicly about the services a technology offers.
