Altcoin are more volatile than bitcoin and possibilities if altcoin existing after two to three years is risky for new investors especially new investors. But you can take risk on bitcoin and have peace of mind!

How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
I like to invest long term but only for the coin with I most trusted.

Long-term is very risky. Just see on CFI project. It was long-term, but now it closes. There is no confidence in long-term projects
It all depends on the product and the team. Reliable strong coins are good for long-term. And one project doesn't reflect on the whole market. It's an exception that confirms the rule: long-term holding is relatively safer when you choose what to hold wisely

When it come to patience, every patiencce has a limit and someone break it sooner someone breaks it much later where there are so many factors which affect this period.
One of them is panic. Panic is usually found when the people buy a lot (which is a panic buying) and you are "motivated" to buy because everyone is buying.
At the other side is panic selling which is dangerous too where "everyone" is selling so you have to sell to which makes you impatient.

For long term storage, I buy Bitcoin because I only trust this coin now. It seems to me that the rest of the coins can be very much cheaper.

This is the right decision. In any case, Bitcoin will grow and you will manage to earn. However, I invested a small part of the money in promising altcoins. They can bring much greater profit.

I also think that for crypto lovers and enthusiast BTC is the best solution, it will bring value at the end, and risk is much lower than altcoins, altcoins on the other hand have greater risk, but reward could be much higher
hence, crypto could be compared to every other investment:
- BTC, ETH and probably group of first 5-6 altcoins have low risk, and steady possible reward
- tradeable altcoins have mediate risk, but higher possible reward to established coins (i foreseen each coin that i want to trade with to have possible mCAP of 1 billion at the end)
- ICO coins, which have high risk of success, but reward is also very high, here comes the knowledge and analysis as, earning comes with learning curve and experience

I prefer to use some altcoins to trade daily. Why? Because some altcoins will not continue to exist in the future. Platforms like Neo or EOS will serve the crypto world in the next 10 years. I want to keep the strong altcoins.

I prefer to get rid of such projects as quickly as possible, too many coins in the future will cease to exist, and it is very risky to keep them in your portfolio.

I believe long term investments. and generally i am investing with long term vision. Surely that is not easy because if you are thinking for long term you need to choose coins really carefully.
That is the hard part of that thing. But if we can choose the right coin we can earn really good amount of money in future.. not like 20 30x.. like 100 200x.. that is the good point for long term investment..

Since September, I have stopped investing for a long time. The market for investment in new projects has plummeted. Even very promising projects cannot raise enough money.

For beginners it is better for you to take the time to learn about trading or crypto, if you already understand it is probably the first step to investing in long-term bitcoin, but I think if you invest long term in altcoin EOS is the right choice, because for now EOS has Big enough popularity to the ICO, there are many who use the EOS platform, or you can go to coinmarketcap.com to see a list or altcoin order from the 1-100 rank, you can choose and see which coin is profitable for you.

There are projects in which even the “road map” states that they are aimed at long-term work and that the main growth will be after the release, and the product can come out a few years after the fees, so I treat this well and with understanding, here is an example. swachhcoin The project will pay people for their trash. At the moment the bonus is 5%, you can buy coins by the end of October. I advise you to see the project.

Definetly the right choice if you hold the right coins. I was always a fan of holding the coins instead of trying to trade or gamble or similar because in the end this pays off more but like I said only if you hold the right coins. The time for grabbing alts is not so far away but winter will tell us more about the real situation of cryptos for next year.

Long term investment/hodling always sounds like a great idea of course but IMO, its not good enough to hodl just for the sake of it.  One has to have a strategy for every coin that you hold or participate in because not all coins are worth hodling or investing in long term due a short life span.   I think if you have solid coins with potential then long term strategy is probably best, but for coins with less solid use case, one might be better off trading or at least not hodling till kingdom come.

This is how i handle my portfolio and it works for me, of course that doesn't mean it'll work for anyone else.  Either way, hodling/selling/trading...all requires that one has a strategy, an entry/exit point, otherwise the wrong calls at wrong times might be made.

I think it makes little sense to look far into the future. It is very likely to make a mistake. I prefer to invest in projects that have medium term prospects. In this case, you can change your mind and pay attention to other projects.

Long-term investments are possible. Well, for a long-term investment, I will take the coins from the leaders. Say top 10 of the market. You can try 5 years to hold and see what happens to them.

personally i think the long term investment is the most profitable type of investment but you should follow closely projects that you are investing in and any new potential competitors good luck

You speak sensibly. I rarely invest in new projects. I keep only tokens earned on bounty campaigns and wait until they increase in price.

This is the most confident but at the same time difficult to analyze the investment. You should have a share of luck and a good analytical mind.

Long-term investment is the choice of people who have patience and courage. As a long-term investor, you must adapt to the daily changes in the cryptocurrency market. I invest in the long term and I am a patient with investment.

I think long-term investments are for people who want to be part of cryptos but don't want to get too involved, it's important to do a good research before putting our money in the long term here, because in theory we throw our money there and forget about it for about 6 months, right now the only investments that are worthwhile are NEO and RIpple.

I'm not only a bounty hunter but also a investor. I have bunch of tokens for hold in a long-term and waiting for the projects to deliver the roadmap and wait for the tokens to have more value in the future. Long term investment is not for everyone and if you are into it you need to have goals and lots of patience.
investing is a good part of cryptocurrency sphere but actuallybinthibk that you may find others interesting as well
Lol you guys must have learned how to invest in the crypto. It might better to buy that on the exchange site if that coin will be getting a huge dump from the pre-sale investors.
This looks the best thing to do right now consider about the fact that so many coins were being dumped.
