Everyone,

Bitcoinduit has had expansive growth in the past two weeks, and as a result, we now have a marketing budget!

The hosts have voiced their opinions and would like to see traffic increase, and I wouldn't mind that, so here's what I'm proposing:

2 Btc allocated to the creation of multiple, quality Banner Ads. This thread will vote on your banners, and they will go live.

4-8 Btc / mo for Banner placement.

I'd like suggestions on the best sites to advertise on, and I'll make one or two of you my honorary generals to go handle business, meaning I'll be trusting you with the marketing budget on a weekly or monthly basis.

I'd rather group source, as it involves the community and I think there's a lot of talented people in here.

I look forward to submissions!

Regards,
Jonathan

I don't know the best sites, but I do know these two sites where it is possible to place ads.

If anybody has a better 200 x 77 image to advertise that bitcoinduit round (http://bitcoinduit.com/game/viewRound.php?id=DailyBitcoins) and wants to see if their ad gets a better CPM than the current one on http://dailybitcoins.org:

I'd be happy to pay for a couple thousand views. Cheesy

Thanks for the fast payment - a man of his word!
Have to change some things cause of the size -  but it won't look that different. For 1BTC you get it tomorrow (im from Germany so here it's time to go to bed now - in 12 hours it should be ready). Deal?

I'd to like to put my website forward for your advertising plan. (bit cheeky I know but you don't get anywhere without asking Tongue)

Basically I run www.bitcoinsreview.com a review website for bitcoin merchants/services/pools etc. I also run Bit-Syndicate, a bitcoin lottery syndicate. I'm also looking to expand into things. Just to note an advertisers banners would be shown across my whole network.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Go for it. If you could rotate all the banners in this thread, and report results here, then I think we have a winning idea.

Would you be willing to do a test run across your network, and I'll keep an eye for 2-3 days on the traffic it generates? We can both compare notes here, and go from there. How's that sound?

Jonathan

Hey Noviz, how would I go about setting up btclottery.com on the syndicate?  Just revamped my whole site.  I've had a link to you for a while, but noone has ever rated my site Sad
Anyway, yeah, btclottery is now a weekly Pick-3 lottery, very similar to the Pick-3's in most US states, and if you think it would be a good medium for your syndicate, I'm game if you have any questions...

Hey. The syndicate is currently taking a break... I wanted to wait till the 7th (today actually) to restart it again as the BitLotto guy would be back.
I'll have a look into starting one for your site Smiley
I'm going to be pretty much completely remaking BitcoinsReview with a muchhhhh better system for reviewing... so hopefully you'll get a few then Smiley I really believe in the site and want to push it forward so it gets used more.

I'll have a look into it in the morning Smiley I did set up some advertising space on my site but never got around to actually get advertisers in Tongue Hopefully it'll bring some visitors in. I'm actually currently revamping the site so its much less complicated to review websites and so the whole site will run smoother. After that I'll be pushing to get a good userbase for it as I still think the bitcoin community needs a site like that... not only for merchant feedback but also to uncover good sites and scams.
