Honestly, just never looked into coinbase much. The 10/50btc limit kind of bugged me when I had 1600btc...damn sold a little early lol

Localbitcoin will get you the best and fastest prices, some sales over 2000USD.
Generally fast coins are worth more, so local is #1 for sellers.

My vote goes to Coinbase. Never had a problem there after getting *ucked by MTGox!
Doing a lot of transfers now no hassle!

40K in Bitcoin can get picked up pretty fast.
Have had buyers show up at meets looking for 100x that much.

One was for US$5 Mill, another was for 4.5K coins, both were in the last 3 months. They were public offers to buy. They were not in jest. There were probably 50 folks in the room for the US$5M offer to buy, so someone else who was there may decide to confirm it. Have had smaller offers but over US$1M as well, in other meets, I didn't see these as crazy or even all that unexpected. I also believe they were all ultimately fulfilled.  |
