I have never participated in projects where developers are not mentioned. Especially to invest money in them. Consider, a gift for them to do

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

If the blockchain a currency or token is on is only as strong as it's developers, then what is the best way to really find out how to trust it before investing? Especially if the developers are anonymous?

Of course it is obviously impossible to give your trust to someone you don't know. But it is not about the developer, its about their project. Knowledge is important. Careful analyzation and extensive searching about the system is necessary. Especially, this involves finacial informations and at the same time it is used by many people. Though taking a risk is part of things you'll consider. At the end of the day its your decision if you trust them or not.

Investing in unknown developer and it's project is totally not a good idea. We better to do our own research first of the developer and the capability of it'a project befire investing. If it's legit then maybe there are no reason to hide it's agenda on their project.

a project may still fail. It depends on whether you will not put money into the closed source? If you do so you will get all you deserve. Everyone checks the code for viability. It does not matter who gives the code or what their name is. That's the whole point of the code.
