Craig Wright claims to be Satoshi, and a Florida court has ordered him to list all of the addresses with his bitcoin.

Apparently he burst into tears in court because he couldn't provide the addresses. What a wuss!! It's time he was locked up to stop him trying to mess up Bitcoin.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Satoshi Nakamoto holds 980,000 Bitcoins.. does anyone know their addresses so we know if he/she/they are active in the market? I would guess Bitcoin is their baby and they wouldn't do anything to manipulate the prices and hurt Bitcoin. But would they be taking corrective measures to fight off some of the other whales?

Its kinda weird question but interesting to me if Satoshi Nakamoto is still "alive" and watching.

reread it .....

Your saying it isn't possible for Satoshi to lose his usb drives? Smiley Grin

I'm certain those 1 million bitcoins will be moved someday, whether Satoshi has them or he passed them on to someone else.

The only people who lose their hard drives or USB keys are novice computer people. Its something that would happen maybe to my wife or my dad on the computer.

Most saavy computer people, especially a highly skilled programmer like Satoshi, always keep backups and they probably got some full-proof RAID setup incase one hard drive fails.

He didn't lose the keys. He either destroyed them on purpose or he maybe had some unexpected death and its the reason why he never spent them. Or maybe he is alive and well and just spending the newest mined bitcoins not to attract attention.

Those coins have been rotting there for almost ten years now (ever since 2009). And I don't think that they will ever be spent. IMO, Satoshi Nakamoto is either dead or he has lost the private key for those wallets. So ideally, sites such as coinmarketcap should not consider these coins while calculating the market cap of Bitcoin.

Let his funds get rotten, but the technology that he innovated has gained importance and is up to date. Let his spend or let him keep hold in the wallet. Already lot many could've tried to breach into the wallet and evade the funds. As stated if these funds weren't added then it'll be a wrong calculation on the total availability to the supply till date. Not only Satoshi I feel there are lot many whales who keep hold of bitcoin in large numbers.

There are a lot of whales out there, but the actual holdings are a secret. The Winklewii are rumored to to hold more than BTC160,000. Roger Ver is holding 300,000 BTC and almost an equal number of BCH. Michael Novogratz also holds huge amounts of BTC/BCH, but we don't have accurate estimates. Both Jihan Wu and Micree Zhan own around $7 billion each in cryptocurrency, but we don't know the BTC/BCH breakdown.

Where do you know Satoshi is holding 980000 bitcoins? I don't think any one knows the addresses belong to Satoshi. So the number of coins Satoshi owns is also unknown.

Yes I believE in what you said because no body knows the real satoshi.he/she is a unknown person how will you prove that satoshi is holding 980,000 bitcoin.digital wallet also privately how did you see his wallet.if some saying that they saw 980,000 bitcoin has satoshi how they will proven.is someone only assuming? But what they saying has no proof.bitcoin addresses of satoshi is also unknown that you can never be know of every one.

people so fucking dumb to really believe its one person behind this operation,  this kind of dumb people even dont know to explain what is stble coin or how blockchain work and why it invented???

its why the people run only after money in the end the most dumb ones and without penny in their pocket...

because bitcoin come from team and why they was anonymous its because they anonymous in whatever they do on the web...because most of the thing are involve in huge risk....

because the nature of human mind is to be famous and known and founders and so on...this is why 80% level of depression in the sillicon valley because they want to be known and founders and rich and greedy.....yet ironically anonymous way dont lead to this path...its not about to be known and famous,

and why they anonymous because they anonymous in whatever they do on the web....in other words wiki leaks also run by one person because the info get to journlist from group of people under one silly name hhhhhh yet dumb people they are dumb and even dont try to listen or learn...sad to say..

before bitcoin come to the world do you know their was people which some of them very wekk known on the web and some of them behind wiki leaks operation and they said that peer to peer file sharing will make financial freedom ....they dont predict or prophets they know its will happen because its solve alot of problems...

do you think this people need this all money to buy great cars or whatever ....hell no they need it for other things in order do other things which improve our future very simple....this people also know to communicate over the internet in smart way so outside entity will never know that something is build until it hit the web....

peer to peer have nature to unite parts to act as one ..

before peer to peer file sharing there was centralized tech which mean all the computers download everything from main servers ...and dont depend on each other....the governments pretty fast shut down this main servers.....so before peer to peer file sharing even hit the main stream already people know its gonna to take over the entire web and its impossible to fight this tech because governments need to shut down more then 500 million private computers...what i mean is some already knew that perr to peer money is come...and it will take over the entire web like peer to peer file sharing...

...its not speculative if crypto will grow or not...its going to eat the entire system dude like peer to peer file sharing....

the problem is people 90% is dumb and greedy and their mind is empty ....simple things they cannot understand....
