Hey Bakal, we decide as a group if a pool switch is needed except for R20 which will be multi-coin/pool mining with GPUs.

Merry Christmas everyone! If you celebrate or don't celebrate this holiday, my toast of good cheers to you and yours is still the same. I'm thankful for our customers and I'm thankful for you co-op members that have helped make this co-op the success it is today by helping us improve things over time and helping one another out with knowledge. 5 months ago I had no idea I'd form the biggest public co-op in the world for BTC mining.

It's an honor to be the founder and co-leader of a co-op full of so many like minded miners, and I'm both humbled by our success and very thankful to have met my co-leaders, which has resulted in round after round of world class values, and a crypto umbrella company founded upon the core of the DZ MC (with the co-op shielded as a sub-company).

Here's to a successful 2014!

How many shares are still available for this?

And did I read correctly that the hardware is already in hand and hashing?

Thanks!

Hi,

I bought shares on dzminercoop. order # 1398, 1395. I would like to get a refund on order 1395 because i am thinking of buying a ltc mining rig and give it a try myself. I prob put an order in for an rig on your site once i decide which one.

My ltc adress is: LXSUHtGCLoJ1TDKsokJegAop3gU7cUm1i1

Also i would like to know if my order # 1398 is completed?

Keep up the good work!

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi mboehler,

I have some good news/bad news to deliver regarding R21x:

Good: This hardware is enroute
Bad: However, this equipment won't be set up until Sunday. Miner Hosting LLC, our primary host company just finalized paperwork for our facility #2. a 6000+ square foot warehouse designed and staffed just for crypto miners, so that we can serve you better and offer room for future expansion.

Good: Because of this delay in start of hashtime, R21x will have discounted hosting for the first month at 50% off!

This offer is only available until R21 begins hashing on Sunday.

Hi Bitcoiner12,

Thank you for the kind comments!

If you wanted to apply GB shares directly to an LTC mining rig, you could skip the 1.5% restock fee that's usually incurred.

Also, in this GB, and in most GBs offered by most GBCs, GB refunds are usually no longer available once hardware is shipped, but since this equipment is delayed in starting until Sunday, we can apply any of your GB shares to an LTC rig.

Cheers.

Quote
Hosting/Management is: $275/month per rig + 0.5% Management Fee.

Is that 275/month per Antminer or 275/month for both?

Just to be clear, is two Antminers with a total 360 GH/s one rig or two? What does the $275 fee
apply to in this case? The .5% is pretty obvious and just scales with results. It would seem that
since the 50 shares are distributed across two boxes, the two boxes constitute "one rig", but you
could look at either way and make sense.

From OP: "We're collecting funds for two (2) Antminers for a combined hashrate of about 360 GH/s."

We may be able to overclock them to 400 GH/s total, but we'll have to vote to void the warranty to get extra hashrate at extra risk.

Since its 2 rigs, it uses twice the electricity so the fee would be $275 per month for each miner or $550 monthly total per subround. We just group 2 Antminers together as a subround to get a usable hashrate that's Industrial Class sized, and for accounting purposes.

BTW: Sushi and bobsag3 met up last night and had dinner. He dropped off some hardware for bobsag3. Smiley

They theoretically only use <400 W each (non-overclocked) which isn't anywhere near what the industrial class rigs use. Two of them together being one "rig" makes more sense. I have a Kill-a-Watt so I can get an exact measurement of my two Ant miners (which are on one 80+ Gold power supply) if that helps.

I have no control of the pricing on the miner hosting, although I do make suggestions from time to time.

I'm just the messenger on this. No offense, but I don't think you're taking into account:

- all electrical costs associated with a world class hosting facility
- cooling (we always add extra AC above and beyond the normal)
- overclocking (which uses more electricity)
- dual network costs (including a 500Mbps and 4G LTE wireless backup because lost packets = lost BTC)
- Estimated 20 min Server Grade UPS/Battery banks with gas generators for longer outages
- business insurance
- business permits/licenses
- employee wages to have a 6 member 24/7 pro miner support team
- Also: 5 IT experts/veteran miners that actually gives a crap about the miners they're hosting.

You *could* just plug it into a wall somewhere and run it and troubleshoot it yourself, but that is nowhere near a fair comparison to the all in one miner hosting service that we're offering, and is an apples to oranges comparison.

To be brutally honest as a pro IT Network Engineer, quotes for a Baby Jet type miner to be hosted at typical pro datacenters ran in the $1.5-2K per month price range for comparable (or even lesser) services. No joke. I should know because I already did the legwork during R1 when I was still a noob GBC. Feel free to solicit your own quotes if you don't believe me. Smiley  Cheesy

I say lesser service in most cases, because their focus at a pro server colocation facility is *not* miners and they would be lost if they had to locally troubleshoot a miner without mfg. support. You can't always fix a miner remotely, and having a "lost" miner support team is no bueno, when time is dinero.

No offense, but I don't think you're taking into account:

I'm not criticizing the pricing or value at all (I have quite a few shares in multiple DZ group buys so I obviously think the value is there), just pointing out that these individually use much less power than industrial class machines like Jupiter or the upcoming Prospero X-3.

I'm seeing fluctuating power draw between 725 W and 730 W (not overclocked). This is at 120 V; at 240 V the power usage would likely be slightly lower.

Hi - will the order change status tonight when the units arrive?
is there anyway to know via the site that my payout address is up to date?

(unlike other orders of mine - I did not receive an Email asking for my payout address - only a receipt)
