how to identify Sapphire RX580 (Pulse) VRAM before buying the card?

I know this can be done via GPU-Z software after buying the card but here I am looking options before I buy the card and without opening the box.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

its a some sort of a lottery, if you got lucky you will get the samsung mem

I guess there's no way to determine in an unopen box

I was thinking in a per location basis like in asia which Samsung dominates

even reseller told me the same thing that they can't tell me VRAM of the card without opening the box

information like PN, SKU number and other parameters are displayed on the box.

Wondering if anyone tried using these numbers to identify VRAM?

I think they should know it, I'm guessing they just don't want to disclose that info. I bought my GPU from a friend who happens to buy directly and believe me, he already knows the RAM even before we do the pre-order..

I don't see the reason why they don't want to disclose the info. they are ready to sell whatever cards they have in stock at discounted prices. Maybe they don't know how to find the information without opening the boxes.

dude, is already the rule of the distributor or the seller if the seller opens the box to know a type of VRAM if the seller does it then considered the card has been purchased unless you buy secondhand and you can know it type of VRAM before buying.

I never said anywhere that I am only after Samsung vram.

Basically, I want to know what I am buying (VRAM manufacturer) before I make a purchase.

Sapphire rx580 pulse hybrid cards don't give great mining performance and hard to make it stable after bios mod. So, I don't want to purchase any of these cards anymore.

yip I know, that's why want to find a way to know the VRAM manufacturer without opening the box.
