there is always this possibility. you can meet it when thousands of people sell their bitcoin. or when investments are declining. but it is a small possibility. because mining costs can not be produced below 5k.
You do not need thousands of people selling bitcoin to have a major fall, big whales could make a difference too, Mt Gox certainly sold many coins in the past few months and they are the major reason for the crashes we are seeing every now and then, you cannot predict anything when it comes to bitcoin, i am not sure about the mining cost will be a major factor when it comes to bitcoin price. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Now a days BTC price is too much dumping. But I have little bit knowledge from my perception BTC has great future and it will be considered another magical world of present world. I strongly believe that, at a time we can not think anything without the presence of BTC. So my perception BTC will be reached new value soon so it is time to buy BTC at a deep value I think you will be the millionaire. So, there is no chance to fall down it’s price again at 5k.
Although btc is currently experiencing a lot of dumps but if you say the possibility to get down to 5k I think the possibility is not there at all. Well, new value. To the moon maybe? The current dump is just because of panic selling, and I never thought this would be back for 5k. |

Historically, bitcoin has been doing well in October to December and I think the market is waiting for this time before making another high. We are at the time of indecision and buying now may give us profits in future. Bitcoin going back to $5,000 is very possible but the time this is going to happen is what I did not know but I doubt this year again!

I strongly beleive that the price would not fall down at 5k again. Because the bitcoin correction period is end now. Its time increase, now the price of bitcoin is gradually increasing but not very much high. I hope this value increasing will continue in near future. By the end of this year surely the price will skyrocket. Buy bitcoin while its price is low and hold it for future. Once the price price will goes high it will give more profits than you invest.

There will probably no chance of bitcoin dropping below $5000 again because it will have a lot of support at $6000-$7000 range like what happened before it recovered a little from the dump. But as we can see now, it is dropping pretty fast and let's just hope it doesn't return to $6000 range again because we can expect a lot of FUDs again which is getting pretty annoying.

You have made this good build up for bitcoin but in the last part mentioning about a huge drop. I believe that the lowest price bitcoin can have is $6,000 because after hitting amlmost $20,000 this is the saddest part bitcoin can have if it drops 1/4 f the highest reached.so. I will be counting sheeps until we cross $20,000 again since im in a long term holding for bitcoin |

Well ever since i joined this party of cryptocurrency i learned that everything is really possible to think that few months back bitcoin's price was at almost 20k usd, it's just a matter of when and if.
Not even just in cryptocurrency, but in everything, anything can happen. Why does the OP think that even for traders, there is the necessity of using a stop loss ? That is the basic idea and it is not all about trying to figure out what is going to be happening in the next few days, because you cannot even know what will happen in the next few minutes. However, anyone who is trading will blend with trend and anyone who is holding should hold and buy lower for the future. Simple as that. There is a chance to everything since it is a market and it is however the market wants to move that it is going to move, based on fundamentals and so on. Anything is possible; we may end up seeing $5k or lower, and in few months could even go to test the previous ATH. At the end, it is just the trend we are only looking at to know what is going to be happening next. Practically, there is just no one who can give you an answer to OP's question when simply the future is what no one can know. |

Yes, many chance the price bitcoin will fall to $ 5000 or even will drop more than $ 5000. There are already many predictions who think bitcoin prices will rise in late 2018, but the story must be accompanied by various things. yes I think maybe it could happen because in every hour or second it can go down drastically, but I hope that in this year the btc price does not come down, because all also do not want the btc price fell again to 5k

Yes it always depend on the supply and demand in the market but the tendency to fall back again to $5k are always there we cannot tell the exact time when this will be happen. I always wanted to buy back again to $5k but the situation are really hard even the price dp so high from the start of thia year. |

No I think there is no chance because $5000 was the price of August 2017 and now it is May 2018. The price is increasing gradually although some corrections too but on the whole the price is on the way up and I feel that it will cross $10k in this year. We should think positive about the future of bitcoin so that more people take interest in bitcoin investment. |

The bottom price is 6k mate and the volatiliy can't break that price since the last last month when it test the bottom price because of strong support . So its impossible as of now to go more dip ,unless if big holders keep dumping on this circumstances .but don't lose hope 'cuase your not late , if i were you accumulate now while the price is gradually decreasing then buy what amount you can afford to lose , just bear it always on your mind mate to prevent regrets. 'cause the market is very unpredictable and volatile so you must know how to control your emotions as well because that is the common reason why people always panic sell and regrets after.

I don't think bitcoin price will go down further to $5k.It's been awhile that its value stays between $8-9k.And I believe it is up again few days or months from now on.
They are some kind of prediction FUD's here lately and some articles circling around the internet that it will drop drastically to $5,000 below the thing is it's not happening in the present and some people predict it last February and that will happen around April based on their crystal balls, well what is the date now? another rebuttal to predict another speculation when the market is red, it never fails to spread that kind of FUD's that the price will drastically drop in the future. |

When the price reach out 9900$,I think the price will reach the new peak.But I get a shock,due to one whale the bitcoin price reduce to 8000$ and then due the holders the price reduce to 8000$ from 8500$.More whale use to buy huge bitcoin now.If they sell thousands of bitcoin,the price will move to 5k$.

even if there is a price very far from the market price suggested by the vendor. With the drop in Bitcoin prices followed by other digital currencies, there is a chance that the miner will sell a graphics card that will cause the price of the used graphics card to fall freely. But again, digital currencies like Bitcoin have a very free volatility because of the price of the digital currency purely based on market demand without any set up. In short within a matter of minutes the value of digital currency that you have will differ greatly. Not to mention the news that almost all Bitcoin will run out "mined" in the near future. |

Yes, that's one example how the market really operates. We are almost at the 5 figures again, and everyone was about to celebrate, but for unknown reasons, the market sentiments shift pulling to price to its current levels of $8000. It's a bit frustrated though, so there's always a chance of a big drop and everyone should always be prepared. |
