I believe the fake airdrop has emerged due to OMG getting listed on coinbase, so scammer are looking for a way of ripping big from people who are not vigilant. Omisego has recently had a price spike by over 200% after getting listed on Coinbase.

I think your scam accusation might be somehow related to what was earlier on reported by @Baofeng: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250490.0

Seems that the scammers are Russians.
Not surprised though.

They just created the site just to launch a fake airdrop.
The problem with this airdrop is they highlighted where to get your private key.
They don't have any business with your private key, so why the need of it?
Obviously, they want to rip whatever balance you have in your account.
A legit airdrop doesn't require any of your private keys.

Thanks, I was about to say that, but good catch anyways, scammers are not going to take a rest and will continue to hunt for more victims. Obviously, this is fake, and we can only hope that human greed will not take over as you can simply fall for this thinking that you can make a lot of money very easy.
