Take a look at that, is it possible that it might be Banksy's work?

That doesn't look like Banksy's stuff, just an imitator.

If someone knows Banksy, he might be interested in promoting bitcoin. We will need guerrilla marketing to make smartphone commerce. It seemed whimsical enough to post.

Banksy's street art is brilliant. I love all his works.

got to love the lack of faith in government value. that coin was worth only 50c using government brandings.. now its 'banksy' branded, its worth a hell of alot more.

meaning people have more faith in the value of a banksy coin which is limited supply, then a standard government coin, without limits. i think ill use that as one way to explain 'bitcoin value because of scarcity' in the near future

He is findable, I mean for what it is worth he paid a guy to sale his art and took the cash from him. Yet no one asked the old man who he was talking with or handed cash to..come on.

He could be found inside 24 hrs by law enforcement or a good journalist if anyone truly cared or just one person talked.

Do you not think either have or are trying to look for him?

We see how good journalists are these days and as far as I know law enforcement isn't so...

the connection is already on the table:

Alex Winter's next documentary "Deep Web: The Untold Story of Bitcoin and Silk Road" will be produced by Marc Schiller, founder of the Wooster Collective which list Banksy under their artists.
On top Schiller's company Bond Strategy and Influence was involved with the marketing on "Banksy - Exit through the Gift Shop" and he is surmised to be a close friend of him.

I'm sure if banksy isn't involved in bitcoin he has already heard of it and is watching closely.

Banksy painting a Bitcoin logo onto a parody of something would be great exposure / advertising. I hope it eventually happens.
