The difficulty level is high.  The hashrate will take a while to find a block.  I run 10 other pools for different coins so I know the drill.  Just leave the miners overnight and it should find a block or two, especially if it keeps growing.  And when the blocks are found, since the hashrate is low, the rewards will be great.

If we were to find a block right now, we'd be at 25% of the way there to the expected number of shares we'd need.  That would mean a block right now would be 400% more efficient than expected which would be incredible.  Just hang on, it'll take a bit.  My miners are there too :p

Excellent explanation for the noob in me. I'm watching your miner right now and I'm quite envious. I really need a big payoff here to fix some things in my life and I can't afford a better setup than my GTS450 gaming PC.

Edit to add: Is there any way you can add a mouse-over tooltip or something to display how many confirmations are left for payouts?

Some people are asking, so the after creating your worker, the stratum port can be found under the "Getting Started" section, or just use:

cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://doge.dedicatedpool.com:3339 -u yourworkername -p yourworkerpass

GUYS... if you want a profitable pool with zero lag and isn't so big that your shares are so small, then try this!

http://doge.dedicatedpool.com

We have 2 blocks in less than 8 hours, and I made around $280 in those 8 hours.  The efficiency is much better than other pools and you get a bigger cut because the hashrate is much less.

Check it out it for yourself if you don't believe.  You don't need a 1GH/s pool to make money, in fact, those large pools have something called diminishing returns where it gets too big and you make squat.

your choice :p

A batch file or edited shortcut will work to launch cgminer but it's much better to use the cgminer.conf file to configure your miner.

All the instructions are in the readme and the gpureadme in the cgminer folder.

Some good info on tweaking the settings to get the best out of your card(s)

Feels dirty doesn't it?  But $20 is $20.. doesn't matter how you mine the coin in the end :p
