Guys what is your opinion about hardware wallets. It will be more secure than your normal wallets. I heard only Nano S setup. Tell me anyone know more details about that.
In general its always better to use a hardware wallet, primarily for its ease of use, It also gives you massive peace of mind especially if you have significant amounts of crypto. Of course there are risks wiith all wallets you could for instance lose you keys for for any type of wallet.
But when comparing them to a normal wallet the difference is that with normal ones(online, desktop, mobile) when you want to send money you have to expose your keys over the internet, this means that if your computer is infected with trojans or key loggers than a hacker could potentially steal all your funds.
With a harwarewallet your keys will never leave the device itself meaning that you can use it on any computer safely. Of course you could still use normal wallets safely on an offline computer but you have to follow best practices. You could also use a paper wallet.
Recommended hardware wallets are Ledger Nano and trezor
