The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Is the worker difficulty high at VirCurPool? I'm getting very little shares per block. My hashrate is around 120 kh/s. Do low hashrate miners get punished in big pools?

Something still seems pretty weird with the targetting. The vircurpool currently has 179/184 of the network hash rate and has only found one coin in the last ~20 minutes. The odds of that seem astronomically low for a coin with a 60 second target.

I noticed that too, I switched to the UK pool

hmm I am not sure on that, there may be some people with big rigs mining solo. Use daemon to check the network hashrate, sometimes the pool displayed hashrates are not accurate.

My monitoring shows the diff is much more smoother now. Below are cgminer diffs.

if you installed mingw packages, you need to put the lib path correctly. Search the forum for a tutorial on linux setup. many steps involved.

Earthcoin (EAC) is one of the best coin!

Yeah I thought the same thing and was checking in the client. This jump seemed particularly odd considering it happened in a minute:

no 13 blocks mined in 1 minute. The reason you see this is almost certain that your QT is in the process of the sync when you start the first getmininginfo, at that time your QT sync to block 407.

After your QT completely sync'd, try to monitor the hash, you won't see this.
