Ok, this worked. But how did the client find my old wallet by itself?

This cat it is just crazy, what a roller coaster ride it has been, started mining from the start , gave up mining after my pool did not pay out, then started mining it again, dumped all my cats after I seen the difficulty adjustment trouble coming when middlecoin started to mine it, I knew it was going to be stuck and the high difficulty forever unless it would be hardforked to adjust the difficulty, but that could cause the coin to get de-listed from the exchanges so i panicked and just dumped them all. and now I am back in, just bough a bunch of cheap cats at cryptsy. and I am going to mine them again, what the best pool at the moment folks ?

Don't use Coinium atm, it has almost half the network hashrate. Do you guys never learn?

Yeah, the best pool for you and the community is actually the pool with the least hash rate.

The client stores the wallet.dat file in the C:\Users/username/AppData/Roaming/CatCoin folder; if you didn't delete that folder, the new client would have looked there by default and found the old wallet.dat file.

Guys don't ask for best pool. Just check the pools list and join one. Always and always distribute the miner's overall hashrate over all available pools.

Teamcatcoin.com only has 15% of network hashrate, in cases of larger pools I would agree but plugging smaller pools is also a good thing to even out distribution. I think the lower a pool is listed the more publicized for its good and bad it should be.

If someone could let Cryptsy/Bitjohn know, though, that would be good. I get the feeling Coinwarz is the kind of site you need to nag, so by all means, nag away. Catcoin is quite profitable right now. Now is the time to be listed on Coinwarz. It still shows the old difficulty, though.

If we want Catcoin to go to Mars, we must make sure everyone's on the same page since the fork.
