Huawei Technologies Corporation has added Bitcoin-purse BTC.com from Bitmain Technologies to the pre-installed company AppGallery app store. The crypto application will be available for owners of new smartphones Huawei and Honor, and later for older models, writes Bloomberg.

According to Alejandro de la Torre, vice president of operations for BTC.com, the traditional banking system can not meet the growing demand for non-cash payments through applications.

"In such conditions, we view such cooperation as a good opportunity to enter the Chinese market," he said.

In turn, vice president of mobile services Huawei Jamie Gonzalo stressed that in the future the use of crypto-currencies around the world will become more ambitious. Recall, in March, representatives of Huawei were considering the possibility of creating a smartphone with built-in support for blocking applications. In particular, negotiations were held with the start-up Sirin Labs about obtaining a license for the right to use the operating system SIRIN OS.

BTC.com said in a statement that it was difficult for Chinese consumers to have access to a cryptocurrency app of any kind as Google's app store is blocked in China. The firm's wallet only supports bitcoin and an offshoot of the world's largest cryptocurrency called bitcoin cash.

It only.goes to show how much the future holds for Bitcoin. Bitcoin will be reckoned with in the world. Just today, I heard Jim from CNN predicting 250,000$ for 1 Bitcoin come 2020, stating that he will be moving most of fiat to buy Bitcoin.

My fear is about it being from Bitmain since Bitmain and Johan have shown they are too friendly with Roger Ver and are willing to push BCash.

Still better than being a bitcoin(dot)com wallet which is a complete scam.

Jihan Wu is not as aggressive as Roger Ver when it comes to bitcoin/bcash debate. He even said it on twitter bitcoin is bitcoin and the other one is the other. He knows if bitcoin goes down, his profits will also go down. He is in a very different position than Roger Ver. Roger is the fuckface who tries to create this brand confusion not Jihan.

BTC.com wallet is not the best either. As for it you will have to register your account to be able to use the app as far as I am aware of. Not even sure if it is open source and if private keys are kept on the server or not. But they might try to push the demand for bitcoin cash with this. Although I think it could be to early in the game to put pre-installed btc wallets on phones tbh.
