It would be good to know how much in donations the ads are generating after all we are all part of the community.

Each round of ad sales are public and can be found in the Auctions section. Look through those threads if you're interested.

I have no idea why you've such a hard on about donations to the forum. You've been asking the same silly questions in this thread for months.

Every few months I come back to this thread to see what is going on and see what is new or old. The questions are not repetitive and definitely are not silly.

You may find it hard to believe but your assumptions about my hard ons (also known as erections) are wrong, they function perfectly well and have no correlation to this thread

I think that the forum should be reopening the donation section, even without offering a special title, some people want to donate as a support to the forum and they can't.

the donate button is always open if people really wanted to support they can just send btc from the address mentioned on the donate button. if you check the address there are still people donating to the forum.

I think that the forum should be reopening the donation section, even without offering a special title, some people want to donate as a support to the forum and they can't.

It was stated many times the amount will not change and the reasons given have been accepted by some and rejected by others but time will tell which way donations might change.

i agree with you, in 2011 10 and 50 BTC wasnot nothing,  but now is so big, we really can donate with 0.3 0.5 0.7 1 and more,  and i think some people can donate with erc20  and ETH to.

If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status, which allows you to set a custom title:

This is part of an effort to make the forum self-sustaining. If donations alone are not enough, a few auctioned-off text ads will probably be added.

You can "buy" a Copper Membership which will remove some newbie restrictions.
