So I logged on to Cryptsy yesterday to find my estimated portfolio balance alot higher than I expected it to, and upong doing a manual check on each coin in my account I came up with the actual balance, and it was 40% lower than the estimate displayed at the bottom of the balance page.

I have confirmed that there are more people who have this problem (with varying percentages) but it's not everyone.

Is this some kind of conspiracy to make users feel rich so they trade more? lol

Many views on this thread, but did anyone actually check lol?

Maybe people prefer to live in delusion rather than really checking how much they got? Smiley

I made a thread in alt discussion asking the same. I feel like i have about 1000% the balance i should. i should have less then 1 btc yet it says i have 12.98 atm. It adjusts by little bits and since my balance was at 1.3 at its peak i thought a decimal error was putting it to 13 but that wouldn't explain your balance. this is wierd

EDIT: Someone posted in my thread mentioning the pennies estimate being off. I searched and found another person who had the same issue. Do you hold any pennies? I'm holding around 2.5bil

You have to consider open trades at the rates you have set to sell them and not current market rates, then it will match up to that balance.

If you have no open trades, it should be accurate as per current market value.

The issue is that it wasnt in btc, i had it spread out but the main culprit appeared to be pennies which i had a decent bit of. Theyr fixing it now so it doesnt really matter anymore
