I don't see hoarding as a big problem. When bitcoin appreciates enough value people (including myslef) won't mind spending pieces of it because it feels like free money. When more and more vendors and services accept bitcoin, and provide discounts for using bitcoins, it will be way too convenient for the average person to not spend their bitcoins.

So I guess 10k/btc won't make me rich... but it'd be more money than I'd imagine having at this time. I don't think we missed the train yet, if it still has potential to reach $10k, $100k, $1M then we definitely haven't missed the train. Imo, 1 btc = 1 million will not happen in my lifetime, but what do I know. I just think it's very unlikely to have that many millionaires, billionaires and trillionaires created out of thin air anytime soon. Maybe if you leave a couple of bitcoins for your grandchildren can enjoy the riches of $1M/btc. |
