If you really think about it, all of the social media platforms make money from all of the people who use their platforms. Users dive in thinking they're on the next greatest thing, all while being suckered there so the platforms can earn billions off of them. Mark Zuckerberg, for example, made $41 billion last year from advertising. How would you feel about sharing in that?

I dont think it works like that at all! I mean why would they go sharing their profits with us at all. Have you see the number of users out there? They will have to share billions of dollars like that with us and well facebook is something that can be joined with "multi-accounts" too. So it would be like scammer place where people will rip off the facebook profits. I dont think it will work at all. Though they might just verify with KYC or somehting then they will turn all the users against them. Lolz. It wont be fun place anymore, it would be just another stupid money making machine.  |

It sounds really good tho, but I think I've heard some articles that facebook has diassalowed and ads about bitcoin, ICO or something, so I mean it would be impossible to happens. Well I don't know if those articles was true or not, but for me personally the social media platform really helped a lot to promoted bitcoin.

social media almost being the most important thing from people in the world currently even in my country i saw people sharing their daily life use social media because they thought this is the way how to sharing happiness and if this is happened then probably facebook users will increasing rapidly because with use facebook people can earn money from profit sharing way however this is similar such as youtube program that people can get profit from viewers

Using their product for free is our share. It wouldn't make sense for us to receive ad revenue when they were spent specifically to try to reach us. It would be somewhat like a hitman victim being paid part of the hit money because the hitman made money off him lol.
It's kind of an interesting concept though. With all these rumors about Facebook launching their own crypto, they could reward users tokens for internal services simply by being online and engaging. It would be kind of like mobile games giving users daily rewards for simply logging in.

they said they were looking into blockchain technology and that is not limited to creating a coin! there are a lot more applications for the technology than that. i have no idea how they are going to use it but one usage that comes to mind which can be close is a social media platform like Steem or a messaging one like bitmessage. |

This is a really eye opener and it means we can actually make some decisions that will also put money in our pockets. Facebook give most of it benefits to Zuckerbergs' He will never give any percent to the users of facebook and we should think our own ways of making money from it instead of put eyes in another man's effort and thinking.

You can be sure that Zuckerberg is not going to do that as it isn't going to increase his earnings but is just going to cost them earnings share.
On the other hand this kind of business method is available at the cryptocurrency market, as there is a well known coin called steem who aims to provide decentralized social network solution, and it distributes the earnings from ads(companies who want their threads to be showed publicly in the main page has to have a high amount of burned steem, and everytime someone burns steem it decreases the total amount of steem tokens available in the network, which is directly affects the price of steem tokens positively.

If facebook should go to that extent will be very great for this blockchain industry.It will be nice where people who need investment ideas will just log on to that page and get vital and latest information on the cryptocurrency market.This will help speed up the public acceptance of cryptocurrency in major shops around the world.I think blockchain should do more negotiation to make this possible.

Steemit is great, but what about the ads we see everyday? Like imagine if you're watching the Super Bowl. Who's collecting that advertising revenue? Millions of dollars for a 15-30 second commercial and every cent goes straight to the network. If the users weren't there watching the game, that would never be possible. Same thing with social media. I think crypto is really going to change the way that happens moving forward.

The point to consider is yes Facebook is making money with your personal info and generate revenue from advertising. What about not accepting someone using your personal information to make money with. Or will you be ok to know someone is spying you if the company pays you something like $20 per year? Me no, my privacy worth more than that. Why shall Facebook share the revenue made? Isn't a company supposed to make profits? |

Zuckerberg is in no position to decide where the money goes to. He gets what he gets because he works with the authorities and the agencies need him. As long as he is cooperating he will get the money, those are scarps anyway for those in power. I wouldn't mind getting even 0.1% of the FB revenue but if all the poor people in the world could get some money they wouldn't be poor anymore, right? If only half of that revenue went to the poor the social pyramid would start to look more flat. The rich don't want that.

We are using their platform without paying anything. Most people think it is free, but technically it is actually not free at all. We have to see advertisements and this is where we are indirectly paying facebook. Advertisements are the source of revenue for them and it is impossible for them to share it with us since the number of users is actually were high. |
