Hi!

A week ago we had the idea of creating Nyancoin and created a client and wallet. We tested it and partnered with Multipool.us to operate our pool.

Then we launched this afternoon and discovered that a BTC user here announced his or her own Nyancoin project two days ago:

We've shut our coin down and have pulled the repo. Even though we had working code and a wallet up and running, they did announce first so we're going to start over on something else.

Our humblest and sincerest apologies to Myhoho -- we honestly did not know about your project!

That could be excellent! Send me a PM and we can get started, sir! As I said, we have working code already, so it could launch as quickly as you would like (no premining though!).
