It's the preferable investment of most so if you have $10,000 to spend don't invest to coins that are almost worthless.

Put the fifty percent on ethereum, and spread the rest over ripple, neo, ada, ont, and a few other coins that you feel confident about, maybe that is the best way to increase your entire budget in four to ten months maybe.

That's right dude Waves are really good for long term, Xrp is a centralized blockchain and i don't really have the feeling that will explode on the market but i will buy xrp to ride the hype by the community.

Yes, that would be 10 coins minimum but I advise to include bitcoin even at 30% max on his portfolio. I also suggest to pick 1 or 2 coins outside the top 200 as they have the best potential to a maximum profit though the risk is higher too.

$XRP and $WAVES is an excellent choice for long-term investment; if you look at other options than Ripple and Waves, then you should also consider $ADA (Cardano) and $XLM (Steller Lumens) these are also a better choice for long-term investment.

Rather than XRP, WAVES; you can invest in the top alts like Ethereum, Monero for long term investment.
Ethereum is the most promising long term investment right now. Since the market is at a low, it is the perfect opportunity to buy the alt. The coin has a market capital of $52 billion and has the potential to cross the $1500 mark by the end of 2018.
Monero is the best privacy coin out there. Due to its ring signature, it make transactions completely anonymous and hence keep the identity of the sender and receiver private. This makes the coin most used for making transactions. Increase in demand has led to increase in the coin's marker capital in a short period of time making it a great coin for long term investment.

If you want to invest on XRP then throw your fiat cash to dustbin or send the money any old age home mate. I think no one looking to invest their fund on the centralized threaten altcoin now. Waves there is no problem with it. You can invest at anytime. I think you may get double the money in next 3 months.

Then if possible invest you money on NEO coin. This coin is still low as I believe so invest on it. In this year end you can see the NEO price at 200 USD or even more value than that.

how do you strongly believe that the price of NEO could reach $ 200 by the end of this year? indeed anyone can speculate. but I hope. If you suggest something should be based on the right reasons

I agree with that. $10000 is a huge  money and you can rather invest the amount on potential crypto like Bitcoin, ETH and Litecoin. They will give you much more than what you expect from the crypto you are talking about only if you hold them for the same time. Both Bitcoin and ETH have been listed as the top two crypto of the crypto market and have been the top notch spots for investors.
