Claymore doesn't wish to update this miner because the profit from miners of Monero is very small. There are a lot of other miners with good stability and hashrate for this algo. Unfortunately, they don't have such a good Remote control as EthMan.exe.
That's sad. Hopefully, circumstances will allow Claymore to change his position about CN V8. His miner would be clearly not superfluous |

+1 would love to see a claymore update to current algo!
It's very unlikely, last update was to CN-V7 and miner was set free by Claymore. Since then, 2 additional tweaks have been done to monero's POW. |

Well, it is always up to the dev to decide how to spend own time and money. He sees balance, and seems like don't see to much advantage in improving CryptoNote . |
