Anybody else having trouble getting their USD out of mtgox into LR? I keep getting the message "To comply with US regulations you are only allowed to withdraw a maximum of $1000 within a 24 hour period. Please try your withdraw tomorrow.", but I'm nowhere near $1000 limit.
I had trouble a few months ago but eventually was successful. Just wondering if it's just me or are others are experiencing this too.

Wait... does the $1000 limit apply to bitcoins too?
Now I can't get btc out. I thought the limit was just for $US->LR. Maybe it is combined.
Makes it kind of hard to buy anything substantial with btc from your mtgox account.

It's the first time I hear of any BTC withdrawal limit.

Yes, there is a BTC limit aswell. "He is making a combined limit of $1000 USD per day for both BTC and USD."but also note: "A couple of people had asked him to withdraw more and he has quickly enabled this."Read more: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1861.0

I only used mtgox twice in the paypal times. Then it was too much hassle with getting LR so I started using bitcoinmarket. Still using it.

Now that I read the link I recall seeing this. Not that I remembered the part about the limit, but I remembered reading about the guy with 90,000 btc.

Same here. I can't figure what's the use of LR anyway, taken you can't directly either deposit or withdraw from it. dwdollar's site seams better. Waiting for see the new one on on 1st March.

Is the keyword "was" as opposed to "is"?
There was a time that people deposit paypal dollars no willy-worry until somebody idiotic and evil enough to steal paypal accounts to buy bitcoin.

isn't it working only during us daytime? I remember seeing something like site closed now (I'm in EU) bitcoin-central.net is 24/7, no fees, accepts LR and euro wire. The market is still thin, but I think it's going to take a lot of mtgox action eventually.
