This user rented my rig at betarigs.com but did not pay effectively blocking my rig being rented by anyone else for an hour. Since I had the best price available at that time his action caused me to loose money.

Well in effect my rig was reserved for rent by a user named 'thewolf' and that led me back to this topic. Rigs on betarigs.com are (or at least were) marked as 'Rented - Waiting payment...' after pressing the Rent button. The site then waits for up to one hour for the payment to be confirmed (needs one confirm). I believe that starting today one has to confirm the rent by pressing the confirm button as well. Because I had the best price at that time it was likely my rig was about to get rented next. After one hour your "rent" was invalidated as the payment never came in time but at that time prices had dropped so I missed the opportunity. Since my max. lease time was set to 12 hours, I lost up to the difference between mining at Middlecoin (only 0.011 BTC MH/day yesterday) and the price I asked (I believe 0.024) for 12 hours so at 1.785MH/s that's a bit more than your calculated 0.86 eur.

But as I can't really be sure what 'would have happened' I don't need to be compensated. Also there weren't other people that reported you so I can't really know for sure you did this on purpose so I'll just look at it as if it was a misunderstanding and I won't loose any sleep over it (and never did as well).
