More than half of the world’s population is still not connected, Google Project Loon and Facebook Drones are traveling on the edge of space, designed to extend Internet connectivity to people in rural and remote areas worldwide.

Security Risk of Centralized Operation
Centralized architecture compiles the computing power, bandwidth and transaction process into handful centralized nodes. Subsequently, these nodes get exposed in the malicious attack and become the most vulnerable points.

PROBLEMS FOR THE NETWORK CARRIERS

Regarded as Dumb Pipe
Carriers spent decades extending network access, however was stuck in collecting relatively small service fee while Google and Amazon built lucrative online empire. Whether the current network can handle all the data and data billing required for IOT and AI era? Whether the current network can understand what content is being distributed?

Rising challenges on competition and pressure on operating margin
Aggressive challengers and alternative carriers were slashing prices. Growth was stalling, the usual cost-cutting measures had reached their limit, and network providers look for a new way to lower the operating cost, at the same time, to establish the operational variety for new growth.

THE SOLUTION

QLC Chain aims to provide a decentralized network to empower individual users, network owners or operators to provide network resource through QLC Chain and to be rewarded or paid directly by being a part of the shared network service.

The Public Chain will be used to register network assets and assign each a digital identity. QLC Chain will integrate with NEO chain for identity registration.

QLC Chain (previously “Qlink”), the first public Blockchain for decentralised Network-as-a-Service announces today the addition of Dr. Chen Jingrong in the team as Operation Director of China. Dr. Chen will lead the development of blockchain solutions for telecom services and drive the pertinent standards research in China.

Dr. Chen Jingrong has extensive background in telecom industry, with 11 patents. He is currently the corporate mentor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications after achieved the phD degree from the same University. In addition, Dr. Chen has rich product development and entrepreneurial experience. He is the former CEO of WiFi Union — the creator of the ‘WiFi-U SDK’ and ‘WiFi Union’ which accumulated tens of millions of users.
