There are countless people living in agony due to unconquered and incurable diseases.
Systematically organized health data from numerous patients are needed to combat the diseases.

Though the health data that patients voluntarily generate accounts for 60% of the entire health data,
it exists in fragmented forms mainly owing to a lack of solid foundation which enables collecting and organizing the data.

This is why we started this project.

Humanscape is a blockchain-based community that collects and compile individual patient’s health data
in a very systematic way to increase opportunities for drug development and clinical participation.
Profit earned through this data will be returned to patients on blockchain.

Application

Personal health profile
Patient’s personal health profile, such as daily records of illness, associated symptoms, administered medication and IoT data can be entered and managed altogether in profile section. Under patients’ permission, this data can be utilized for researches and clinical studies, ultimately bringing better chances for recovery.

Community
Health records shared by patients, currently scattered around different patient communities focused on certain diseases, can be browsed in a single platform. The rarer disease it is, the less information is available. In this respect, every little piece of information is valuable and can be a great help.

Data hub
When it comes to incurable or rare diseases, relatively small amount of patient data can be still useful for pharmaceutical companies and clinical studies institutes to gather target patients and conduct researches. For example, in 2011, there was a case which existing medical research paper was refuted by 149 ASL patients’ data.


Why Blockchain?

People’s health data should not be monopolized by a few but must be safely controlled and utilized in transparent manner for the public interest.

Patients’ health data has been in the hands of the third parties who try to monopolize and commercialize it. Thus, it was nearly impossible for patients to know to what extent their health record is collected, who needs it and how it is used.

However, on blockchain that provides transparent environment in data usage, anyone can look up the transactions of data and ultimately patients can retain control and authority over their own health data.

HUM is a meta token of SMT. Initially, token conversion event was scheduled for existing token holders after issuing ERC20 tokens on Ethereum and Steem-based tokens through SMT in the near future.

I am amazed with this project, since I can really relate on their goal, I engaged with crypto since I can't no longer work due to my health problem, I am a LUPUS PATIENT, a systematic illness which until now has no cure...same condition with Selena Gomez. I noticed over the last few days that this is the one token n my wallet that has actually gained value, especially during this long drawn out bear market phase and I do like the project for what it stands for. I see now it is listed on another exchange as well, but am holding these tokens as part of my long term portfolio. I don't have a big sized bag, but it's slowly appreciating in value. The supply is pretty huge, we know that, but even if the supply is big if the project actually works, then that is not an issue. I don't really mind if the supply is humongous as long as what's on the road map is implemented and the Teamwork hard to make it successful.
