Hi All,

I'm deploying my antminers at a data center which provides me with internet via their router.
I want to be able to monitor and manage all of them using Awesome Miner.

What hardware do i need to make this happen - was planning to get a layer 2 Ethernet switch to connect all my miners to but am unsure of what to do next.  I know awesome miner needs VPN to remotely manage the miners but I'm not sure if a switch would allow me to set one up.
Do I have to get my own firewall/router or is there anyway I can do it only with a switch.

Do I need a specific switch? does it need to have DHCP capabilities?

Nope, just VPN so that your miners appear to be on the same subnet your Windows machine is on.  Your hosting provider should be able to help you.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.
