Anyone know of a service that you can buy junk silver coins, or 1 oz rounds for BTC?

I've seen one site, and the prices were so inflated (2.5x spot).

You might have some luck on #bitcoin-otc on chat.freenode.net. I don't see any orders listed for silver today, you can place one though.

All posts by me after 2012 were a compromised account. Probably by "BBOD The Best Futures Exchange". SORRY Y'ALL

On my list of projects is to research what sort of interest there would be for a site offering bullion for BTC.

Anyone know of a service that you can buy junk silver coins, or 1 oz rounds for BTC?

I've seen one site, and the prices were so inflated (2.5x spot).

At the bitcoin conference, mybitcoinmint.com was selling 1oz for about 4.4 btc.  I was told it was about 20% over spot, but looking online it seems to be even less of a markup.  I bought.

mybitcoinmint.com's website was not finished last time I checked.

I have 20 mint-condition Philharmonics which I am considering selling for BTC.

At current prices, I'd probably be enticed to sell the lot for 85 btc (roughly $45 per oz). PM if anyone is interested.

5% over spot is an excellent deal. Couldn't you automate that price? Do you want help with the programming?
