Bitcoin is the birdge that connects to fiat and other altcoins so it has really gives a major effect everytime it goes up or down. Altcoins can sustain it's growth by itself because they are not established well in the market or still not proven it's worth.
I think because almost all or even all altcoin users are bitcoin users, so whatever happens to bitcoin will certainly have an effect on altcoin, or is it true what you say that bitcoin is like a bridge, bitcoin is like a symbol for cryptocurrency, so when bitcoin has certain changes either up or down, it will have the same effect on most altcoins

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I noticed that most times when btc is rallying almost all of the altcoins dip. and when there is a crash in btc all altcoins suffer as well. my interpretation is that for the first alts can't sustain the price against the $ if btc is high. and for the second, everyone is panic selling btc.
what do yo guys think ??
Bitcoin is the largest currency currently in the world of crypto. With enormous strength and market share it will make Bitcoin a huge influence on other Altcoin. Altcoin prices can change easily when Bitcoin prices change. So the price of Altcoin can be said to be predictable in accordance with the price movement Bitcoin. This is like USD Dollar and Euro, it can affect other currencies very quickly.

Bitcoin is the most influence in cryptocurrency world, when the price is go highly, all altcoins will be dumped and fall on that condition, on the contrary, altcoin survive when the bitcoin price goes down. Because bitcoin is the heart of crypto currency and nothing can replace its position as the best crypto asset.

At this time market is very new and immature and because of that it easy gets affected by the moves of bitcoin. Most of the altcoins follow the moves of bitcoin so if it goes up they go up with BTC and vice-versa. But I am sure when a market will get mature we will see good moves in the market.

Crypto currencies are associated with one another and like bitcoin all the altcoin affected because if bad news came into the market for the bitcoin and people who have sell their crypto because of this news then it is a loss for us and all the crypto affect one another .

Altcoins are clearly relying to bitcoin so it can have value. Traders won't see it worth if it's not paired with btc and that is what makes them all weak unlike Ethereum that can still manage to go up or not crash even btc is dumping hard.

As I see it, Bitcoin price has a great effect on the cost of the other altcoins. When BTC is falling, the whole market is dowing down. And when it grows, the crypto is gaining.

if the money dont go out of crypto, the rule is very simple ; prices of bitcoins go up then altcoins go down, but when prices of bitcoins go down prices of altcoins go up.

No, man - this situation USED TO BE. Now, it is quite different. With the growth of Bitcoin, the other altcoins start to gain and run ahead very fast. Now, all the cryptocurrencies are connected, as I see it.

The idea that bitcoin rising leads to altcoins falling is an unproven hypothesis, it is something that traders have noticed, but due to the various flaws in human observation, we cannot say for certain it is true.

The idea that bitcoin rising leads to altcoins falling is an unproven hypothesis, it is something that traders have noticed, but due to the various flaws in human observation, we cannot say for certain it is true.

There is one connection, when bitcoin is rising that's mean money is being pumped into it, money comes from alts, people are cashing from alts and they are buying back bitcoin. Money has its flow and its normally that market is affected by traders decisions, I mean masses. Today everyone wish to sell on top and buy back in bottom, how can market react on that money flow? With fluctuations of course.
Bitcoin has impact on alts price, when bitcoin rise prices of alts in fiat also rise. Bitcoin is the main mean of exchange for many alts and tokens.

This was a happening once but not now. Right now these both are just moving side by side. Whenever prices of altcoins are down, but coins are down in that scene too and same in other case. If you want to take some evidence so you can check the prices of altcoins in last three to four months. They are down alongside with bitcoins. These both become the fantastic world out there.

Bitcoin is the main coin and the price of most altcoins depends on it. If bitcoin falls, then he drags the entire market down, and I also think that bitcoin will eventually grow stronger and gain weight, and many funds from altcoins will flow into bitcoin!

Of course Bitcoin effects on all altcoins. Because it is a main cryptocurrency of the market and basis cryptocurrency for almost all altcoins trades. That's why high level of correlation alt coins with Bitcoin is natural.

It is an interesting comparison - I have never thought about it. What I know is that now, Bitcoin is growing, and altcoins start to gain. They are connected.

Bitcoin is the pillar of cryptocurency and what ever movement bitcoin had, it also drags or pull alt coins price as bitcoin is the main reference of alt coins price.

You will come across so many people who will try to co-relate bitcoin with that of the altcoins by saying that there is some sort of indirect relationship in between both the coins and that both the coins have some negative effect on each other. However, there is nothing like that and that all the crypto coins are independent in nature and that bitcoin market value hardly effects the market value of the altcoins.

you can see what is the btc effect on altcoin in many exchanges because when bitcoin price is down and it's down since yesterday and if you check the market, almost half of the coin is following bitcoin to get down. I think this is only for a moment and the price will back to the position before because this is happening in many times so actually we don't have to be panic since we have this experience in a month ago.

In my opinion Bitcoin can and cannot affect alt for two reasons. First, both are different technologies and have nothing to do with each others. They offer different services and have different profitability and return in the market. The second thing is that Bitcoin being a standard is use to measure alts.

I say that because alt is a technology that stands in front of Bitcoin in a monopoly type market. If there occurs a fall in the prices of Bitcoin and not in that of alt, people shifts their investments to Bitcoin which were initially intended to be invested in alt.
