mate i got 12 btc on there. slgn seemed to get his 2 years after. orderbook didnt help me.

I literally don't know how many BtC I left on deposit with DeepBit.  I had 6-7 computers in my business, and I would set them to mine on nights and weekends.  I never logged-in to my account, to see the amounts.  Then, I had some bad business hiccups in 2012, and was forced to quit mining.  Back then, while trying to avoid bankruptcy, it seemed like too much trouble to worry about accumulated BtC in my DeepBit account.  BtC wasn't worth all that much.  But now, BtC is well over $4K USD...and I'd like to have it.  But really, it's my own fault for not pulling it all out at the time...

Hello,
im preparing to take legal actions against deepbit, since they ran away with amounts of btc of mine which are making this worthwile. There should be several people having the same issue here, please contact me in private so we can work together. Im already in contact with my lawyer. If someone of the deepbit staff is reading this, you can also contact me and we can work this out off court (not believing..)
regards!

I seem to recall leaving about 100 BTC there.  At the time it was only about $200 so I just forgot about it.

Now I am going to take legal action to get my BTC.  I have absolute proof that I mined 100 BTC way back then.  I have hired an attorney, really, I have.  He says as long as I have money to pay him $500 an hour I have a case and he will spend my money trying to figure out how and who to sue.  He is a great guy, had to pay him $25,000 up front but it will be well worth it.

Not.

I have 0.4 BTC stuck on DeepBit. It would take a miracle to get those back.

I'm currently developing an experimental social AI platform

Hi all!

I'm one of the lucky guys who left his money there, too. The funniest part is that I once thought I should move it to Mt Gox, but didn't and was happy about that decision some timer later on. In the end it wouldn't have made a difference Cheesy
deepbit.net owes me approx 8 BTC. Still hoping that the owner(s) want good karma and send me the money...

Have a great day,
uebi

Yes.  I did believe and still believe that every satoshi will be worth a lot some day.  That is why I made sure to get all my BTC off of Deepbit (and all the other pools I was using at that time) before I stopped mining there.  That is what you should have done.  You lost a small amount of BTC.  That is nothing I lost thousands of BTC over the years.
